What's wrong with the Jets?

How can a game that takes 1 hour to play actually take 4 hours to watch? Also why do people celebrate like they've just got Katy Perry's number when they've gained 3 yards? It's probably the worst sport on the planet

I dont particularly have a team and I have been watching for several years.

Have a soft spot for the ravens... the best thing is to like certain players. Obv ray lewis was my reason for liking the ravens and hes no longer playing

As has also been mentioned, the Jag's or either NY team aren't worth your love, IF you enjoy watching a team with at least some kind of winning chance!!!

Find favourite players, favourite kits, local...whatever you like really, whatever draws you in. You might never have 1 team you fanatically support, more just a love for the sport and a few teams you root for.

As you mentioned in the article, it's exciting. No matter who you watch, the cliched, but true, of Any Given Sunday absolutely represents about 60% of what I see on a daily basis!!! Just enjoy!

1 fun way i have heard a mate of mine explain why he picked a team is the following:

Locate your exact spot on a world map (whether that is your current house, or where you were brought up).
Then pinpoint the nfl teams on the map.

Then whichever is closest to you, thats your "local team".

or go the other way (another way i have heard), go for the furthest away team.

it will make going to watch a game of theirs in the future all the more fun.

i have gone with the lions because:

1) my uni housemate forced me into it
2) i went to the lions falcons games at wembley with the statement "i will support the winner from now on"
3) the housemate i mentioned above bought he a lions beanie. its kind of daft now being a fan of another team with a lions beanie.
4) WE have never won the superbowl, so something to look forward to.

However, the Cowboys have a player I really enjoyed watching... not sure of the position yet, but he caught and ran with the ball a lot () - Bryant? - and was quite exciting. Kansas also had a player that I thought was entertaining too - Thomas...
