He doesn't get blatant pens either eg. Chelsea and Man Utd
What makes it more weird is how the media refuse to talk about it either
Wilshere is as guilty of violence as most of the other players in the league.
Recently (as in the last 2 seasons or so) his second touch has been a tackle. As long as that continues to happen, he'll consistently get injured.
Don't get me wrong, he does still have some games where he is a very good player, but for the most part he really doesn't play that well when I watch him.

I would have been ecstatic if he realised his potential and made England's midfield half way good, but as it is, I don't think he will where ever he goes.
you made my arguement for me
Hatchet job on player,
Player brings it on himself
only in england
And he sticks his head into bóobs.

This is not New and he should have learnt. He keep the ball far too long.

He needs to drop the hardman act, it's putting him out of action every other week
Squaring up to people and attempting (badly) to nut them is hardly going to win any favours with your opponents.
Don't care about wilsh1t, he makes us worse when he plays, look how good ramsey + cazorla were when wilsh1t wasn't playing, great news to see him injured
this attitude is why english football is so medicore
He endangers himself. The way he got injured at the weekend is typical. Tries to take on too many players, overruns the ball and then makes a last-ditch lunge to keep it. For someone with career ankle troubles, he's got to be less aggressive on and off the ball.
he was tackled from behind....how the hell could he have anticipated that????
He will never reach his potential under Arsene.
It is some of the most ill-disciplined management I have seen from such a ill-disciplined player himself. He isn't given any specific roll really, at Arsenal I have seen him as a DM, AM, CM and even on the wing, therefore he plays like he hasn't mastered any position and it tells.
On top of that he clearly thinks he is the bøllocks at Arsenal and thus believes his own hype.
Which is why I think he is generally better (or at least more consistent) for England than he is Arsenal. More discipline which refines his talent.
I've seen babies dribble with more control than Jack
Lol. He's the midfield version of Phil Jones. Thick as a brick but got decent technique
Got to agree with Sheriff and many others. The guy is clearly a bit dim (listen to him talk), and no one is coaching him or giving him advice to look after himself a bit better on the pitch.
It's just off you go Jackie Boy, do your stuff lad. Oh you got injured again, oh for 3 months again. Oh cause you held on to the ball too long, you over-ran it didn't you, you ended up going in fifty fifty, you won it just before the opposition because you are quick, oh what you lost your ankle in the process again. Whoopsiedaisy.
Nothing wrong with his committment, its great, but sometimes you have to show some regard for your body's safety, if severe injuries repeatedly happen. How many hyper-extended tackles do think Theo is going to go into deep in his own half when he plays again? How long did it take for Ramsey to start doing fifty, fifty tackles again, and even now they are rare.
Wilshere did the same thing last season when he broke is foot on international duty. There is such a thing as adapting your game whilst not destroying everything that makes you good. Just move the ball quicker you moron. Stop drippling so much.
Even when he first started for us and he played every game, he would go down several times a game from getting clattered.
I've sort of stopped feeling sorry for him now, its just idiotic how he gets himself injured so often. It simply isn't a coincidence or bad luck. You can't go blaming the PL, when he's got tackled like this in internationals and CL before.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can't be a good player if your not on it. Its quite clear without either a major epiphany from Jack, or some proper advice from other players or coaches, he will continue to do himself in like this.
Wilshire is himself thuggish, so it sounds like the OP is talking gash.

This is exactly why foreign softys such as Aguero, Suarez, Cesc etc fail to make it in England
The same thing would happen abroad. He's just made of glass.

Breaking himself repeatedly doesn't equate being made of glass.
