You will win the league. City have had too many slip ups and will have more. Aguero as good as he is he is also quite injury prone and won't always be there to get them out of trouble

True Frankie

But without wanting to jinx things...............

If we're still 6 points clear of 2nd place come when Yaya goes off to ACON with same games played, i'd be feeling confident, even though on here i'd be the face of pesimism

If the gap is 5 points at the end of the year no one will be saying the title is definitely going to Chelsea, so it makes a mockery of those saying we have won already a 6 point lead. after 13 games.

Oh i don't think we've already won it Biggish. As you're all quite correct in pointing out, there's a lot of football to be played.

I'd have taken this situation in August though and if we can somehow maintain this lead until Yaya goes to ACON (i know he's not setting world alight right now) then i will start to beleive.

Flash if we were talking about the Yaya of last season then I'd be happy about ACON coming up but not sure him going will be too much of a disadvantage for City.

Especially as dare I say it they have Lamps who is very good cover in that position.

It seems to be all about Aguero this season. Maybe someone can take him to the ACON instead

I agree with this article in principle but who have City actually played? Arsenal aside they haven't played anyone remotely decent away from home yet and even the worse United side in decades went to the Emirates and won.

I don't see City getting the same return of points from United (A), Chelsea (A), Everton (A), Liverpool (A) as we did.

I do think this side is a tad overrated but let's not underplay what we've achieved thus far.

Winning the title is an impossibility to be certain of until the points are in the bag.

But lets not confuse this with how well our side is developing and the quality of the opposition..

This next phase of games taking us past the mid way point is crucial , several tough tests coming up and if we do get through with a decent gap in place 6 points for the sake of a figure then i reckon we can be confident we will be in it at the end with a fair shot at the title.

If we drop our advantage over this period and begin the new year level pegging we will have a fight on our hands to guarantee a top 2 finish.

But on the face of it we are developing nicely and should be in it to win come May.

Agree with the article entirely,we've still got the heavy part of the season to come yet !.But I must admit I'm pretty pleased with things so far ,YES WE CAN !

If City drop points today the media will go into overdrive about us winning it and Southampton being our only realistic challengers, Do they actually believe this balls?

City will win today.

Southampton have overachieved this season, they'll start getting pegged back now and soon drop out of the top four.

Superb, City were very lucky against Bayern, Very. I wouldn't be so sure that City will win this one.

If we are still top come the new year , having been to, Liverpool, Everton, United, City, Spurs and Southampton, I won't be complaining. Sunderland done brilliantly , but i am sure if other teams use this as a blueprint , nine times out of ten it won't work. We are not a shoe in for the title, but much rather be us than anyone else.
