people expelled from that land.

Both Isael and Palistine are at fault for this war. Both have committed horrific crimes and if it were Palistine with the heavy artillery, you can guarantee they'd be just as forceful as Isreal.

It's always amazing to read some of the ignorant things said by the right wing people on here.

Innocent people are dying in the hundreds of thousands in the middle east. If they can't see it breeds resentment of the West then they're either idiots or being wilfully ignorant.

It doesn't excuse someone blowing up a bus full of innocent people as I believe the suicide bombers to be misguided, idiotic people but it does make me wonder how the hell is this going to stop from both sides?

I guess the only way for the killing to stop is for the US and the UK to stay out of the middle east. Let local governments deal with local issues.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha..local governments deal with local people...in the middle East right ! So ethnic cleansing ,rape, murder can escalate even more !!
It's so naive to simply say pull out all US and UK and other interventionists. We did help create the mess and that's the problem. The cause of this.
ISIS grew out of all this and now eve the anti-Assad supporters are joining forces with ISIS now as objecting to US bombing them and rightfully in their eyes want to know where were the US forces to protect them against Assad. It's very complicated and there are no simple solutions

I don't get the religion argument either, how a group of football fans can sit here and say how peaceful things would be without it is madness, we of all people should be able to appreciate the fact human beings just love a good scrap.

As for race playing its part, I don't agree either, at the end of the day whether black, white, asian, or green, it's all pink on the inside, I am of course talking about pussay, something that if those in charge were getting enough of they wouldn't be kicking off with each other so much - Cherie Blair, you reckon she dropped her knickers other than to take a dump? Absolutely not, I can understand why Tony was pi55ed off all the time and decided to turn his attentions to playing a real life version of Risk.

It's difficult for local governments to sort out the problems when the west install deliberately incompetent puppet governments to replace the only leaders who had the slightest control over the populations.

That whole Arab Spring thing is going soooo well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, I agree with that. I just mean for the US and UK to completely stay out of the middle east. And eventually that would mean that puppet governments are also ceased.

I do accept that the West have brought good things to the region like democracy and the lack of womans rights is an issue which really needs to be sorted out but the good things we've brought has been massively sullied by the thirst for oil and power that certain US and UK governments have exploited in the name of peace.

VC,

What policy?
------------------

The various decades old policies that the National Security Council spoke about in their memorandum.

I'm not going to go into a complete history of UK/US foreign policy. But to stick to a couple of the recurring horrors we routinely inflict upon the world (not just the middle east here by any means):

- The overthrow of democratic regimes and instalment and support for brutal regimes (See Iran 1953, Chile 1973, Indonesia 1965... Support for Saddam, Saudi Arabia, Egypt.... The list is literally too endless)
- Support for Israel's ethnic cleansing, occupation and settlement expansion of the remnants of Palestine (invaders and occupiers have no rights to self-defence. The occupied population, however, do.)
- The invasions and bombings/droning of various countries
- 'Genocidal' sanctions (see Iraq). I'm quoting Denis Haliday, Chief UN Humanitarian Co-ordinator in Iraq at the time. 500,000 children under the age of 5 died as a reult of US/UK led sanctions.

These policies - which a just a few - are, as all the best evidence demonstrates (including declassified internal records where high official quite openly talk about this) are geo-strategically and economically motivated.

So 'what policy'? Well, take your pick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing to add.

exactly right...thousands of rockets fired into Israel everyday. Do you really think they will just accept that.
The fact that their dome intercepted most is neither here nor there as without that dome scores of them would also have been killed.

Elvis we haven't helped anyone mate. We've robbed everybody blind and killed their people whilst doing so. Take your faking heads out of your ar3es you fackin idiots.
--------------------------

I fully understand that we have played a large role in creating the problem to begin with. I also fully understand that we spend a lot of money trying to care for the refugees etc that are created by these wars. All I am saying is it now time to leave them to it and stop meddling.

Religion, in my opinion, it's simply fabricated by the human race because humanity cannot accept their own mortality.

It's based on nothing blind hope, this is undeniable.
