Why go for an ex player at all?
People are forgetting McCall was a total disaster down in England. He's hardly been great up here.
I would rather go for someone out of left field.
McCall will be another Ally.

Imo we could do with a interim manager that gets the best out of the players we have and a coach who develops the youth and scouting network
If it has to be people with links to the club ( not saying it does ) whit about big eck for manager and peiter huistra ( has been couching in Holland with mixed results ) A bit of a wild card I know!
For me, McCall's the man for us at the moment.....on a 2-3 year contract.
I will top myself if that happens, please no
Big Eck till the end of the season
Is he not working in Belgium at the minute?
I doubt you'll be paying compo for anyone if you do manage to get rid of McCoist.
We need a manager, not the oldest one of the boys pretendig to be one by wearing the suit.
Right now, in all honesty, I'd settle for anybody that actually managed a football club at a decent level and had some success with them
McCall is an obvious choice, but considering where we are right now, I'd take Derek Adams.
Over a period of 7 years, with an intermittent 6 months as Hibs assistant, that man took Ross County from the second division, and made them a top six SPL side, reaching the Scottish Cup final and going unbeaten in the league for 40 games in the process.
There's not many Scottish managers, out of job at the moment, with a better record than that
Imagine if Ally walked and then the Bomber took over to the end of the season.
That would be brilliant.
Get Paul Le Guen back in there ...
"Yes, ah, we, ahhhhhhh did a good game today"

I just saw this. So Ally actually believes the fans are backing him?! I honestly wonder if Ally is mentally ill! He cannot be serious. A few times in the past years he's said things that are beyond all sense.
Is he just pretending everything is ok as a coping mechanism?
