Who cares who Wenger signs? It won't make a difference. He's the problem; he's finished and the only way anything at the club is going to change is when he leaves. That's 2 and a half years away from happening so we just have to contend with the all round rot of a man who's been done for years.

He's neglected the physical side of football for 10 years, it's getting us no where. Every fan can see what he is doing isn't working, he still continues to do the same rubbish season in season out

exactly why anybody looks forward to a transfer window is beyond me.

we'll still be short in so many ways, players will defend badly, players will get injured.

The reality is Wenger isn't going anywhere until his contract is up. So the best we can cheer for is top 4. At least then we'll be in a good posstion when a new manager takes over.

May as well just accept 4th as the best we get for next 3 seasons, and push for more once wenger goes. Very best wenger will get is 1 FA cup in next 3 years. Can't see the board getting rid unless in a very extream situation. Say we're 12th and no one is going to the games anymore. But We'll most likely still get 4th and the board will be absolutely fine with that.

Why get so wound up about it, we knew ages ago our season was already over. Today's result doesn't really mean anything cos we'll still probably get 4th.

If you ask me, today was a good day. Chelsea lost, Liverpool and Spurs are still shíte, we lost at a ground we always lose at. Who cares.

You just have to admire someone like fergie.

Everyone thought he called it too early but was actually spot on with his decision

Bats ..... you obviously don't care at all ...so why go on a football board and pretend that you are a supporter. Go and do something else.

Why because I'm not killing myself over how pathetic we are I'm not a supporter?

You need to face reality, Wenger is here until 2017 whether we like it or not. We are going to be shít up until then and possibly beyond that if he signs a new contract.

We are going to have numerous matches like today where your average run of the mill manager easily exposes our weaknesses and tactically schools our manager.

We are going to have plenty more transfer windows of false hope and disappointment.

And guess what, there's not a single facking thing any of us can do about it. So rather than slitting your wrists on a Saturday night, just embrace and accept what we've become. And look forward to the day Wenger calls it a day because that's when we can start being optimistic again.

I dont understand why people can still be so confident that we'll finish 4th?

I'm not confident of top 4 at all

It's a bit like when a govenrment gets voted in you don't like. You just have to accept that it's going to be pretty crap for 4 years at least.

Because our competition for top 4 are Spurs, Liverpool and Everton who are all dross; Southampton who will probably fall away and United who are on a decent run at the moment but aren't that great themselves. We could even finish 3rd ffs, that's how poor our rivals are.

In all honesty, I've never seen us SO BAD before but at the same time I'm not worried about top 4 in the slightest. Not that I really care about it. All it's good for is bringing in world class players that end up taking the burden of carrying us to 4th anyway.

More like a dictatorship. We don't even get to vote

We have been lucky because pool and Spurs are also equally dreadful

I wouldn't right off all our competition just yet Bats. In reality they will probably all be more active than us in January.

Maybe I will look stupid but I just don't see it. Liverpool are in a rut, Spurs are hit and miss. Everton are focusing on Europa. Southampton - they could pose a threat but I reckon they'll fall away.

Haha Yeah we can't vote. But at least we know our dictator is going to have retire at some point in the relatively near future

After today, i'm not so sure that we can't rule Newcastle out of the fight for 4th. They did what none of us have been able to do.

Anyway, 4th is the highest we can achieve. Utd will probably spend even more in January and get 3rd

posted on 6/12/14

I hope you're right. The only thing that seperates us from them is sanchez. Our defence is shambolic without Kos and Debuchy.

Personally i dont see them as a threat. However its anyones game at the minute so you could be right.

We'll finish a distant fourth, probably a point ahead of Liverpool but around 25 points minimum, maybe more, behind eventual winners
