I thinks he general consensus on these boards is that he can cross, he's just got into a habit of taking the easy route and passing sideways, not taking people on and generally looking like a water carrier.

I hope he keeps this up.

Football needs to learning a few things from hockey.
1- let the advantage go and if it turns out there was none pull it back even if 30secs have elapsed.
2- stop the clock when a player goes down. will top play acting.
