Kind of expect it from Hazard Costa Fabregas etc but when you see Cahill and Ivanovic etc chipping in you have to question it who next Courtois ?

Is a bit silly though, but what do you expect from English Officiating/media?

Amazing how City are closing in and Mourinho deflects the attention of it elsewhere. He's worried.

I don't think I have seen Hazard dive, maybe go down a little easily, but always looked like enough contact there to warrant going down - I actually would like him to go down more easily now Drogba style, the amount he gets fouled every game with the opposition players getting away with it is beyond ridiculous now.

That was embarrassing from Cahill though, and Ivanovic has been a little girl in the opposition box for a few seasons now - the mans a beast in one box and ridiculously fragile in the other.

All then people in the stands yesterday calling Fab a cheat. Based on what? Cos with the best eyesight in the world you can't see from that distance. I was convinced he was fouled based on both players reactions. No accusation by Southampton ala Carroll and Cesc going into one.

Pundit

City closing in? We will also see how good or over rated they are when they visit Stamford Bridge. I think its going to be tight for a little longer than Chelsea will pull away

Players for most teams will dive if they get the chance, it just seems at the moment Chelsea are in the spotlight because of it with some of their players going down quite easy, but not always a blatant dive!

Do people class going down easy as a dive? Because the pundits seem to be split over it, some say if there's contact then the player has a right to go down.

There's so much talk week in week out of players diving the FA should grow a pair and start dealing with it.

For me the use of video evidence should be used like they have done in the past with things the Ref has missed (Ferdinand against Hull 2010) if there's any doubt whether the player has dived the challenge should be reviewed and if there's NO contact then the FA should hand out either a 1 game ban for the player or issue a warning that if it happens again then a 3 match ban will be given.

well done TCP that's a great idea, there's 2 positives about your idea if there's no football for months on end 1, it'll stop diving and 2, we may not have to put up with your drivelling for months.

Nah, diving was invented in the early 90s. Well before Chelsea were even founded.
