Basically any movie with a prefix of "American" just can't fail.

Hmm, what about 'Debbie Does...?'

Just watched it, best film I've seen in a long time. There wasn't much I didn't like about it. Enjoyed the ending too.. Was left open to interpretation and I'm sure it'll be discussed and debated by most who go to see it. Not one bad performance in it either, subtle humour and some clever dialogue.

Just watched birdman.... It was a bit pretentious to be honest.

But overall I still liked it, acting was excellent.

Think it's overrated though, gone girl is probably my favourite film from the last 12 months, guardians of the galaxy was a nice surprise too.

Will be watching whiplash over the weekend as I've fancied that for a while.

Whiplash is a great film,JK Simmons will surely get an Oscar for his Role.Best performance/film i have watched in a while.

Birdman was a pile of crap, really disappointed to be honest,it actually started to give me a headache at some point

American Sniper was decent, thought Bradley Cooper was great in it,wasn't a fan before but he did a good job.

Still haven't seen intersteller yet really want to watch that

Thought Norton and Keaton were great in birdman though ,just didn't enjoy the film much, both probably deserve oscar nominations for their performances.

The imitation game was brilliant, watched that last night.Unbelievable story about a complex yet incredible man,Benedict Cumberbatch is great in it

As good as that imitation game is I probably won't bother watching it as there was a series of documentaries a few years ago hosted by Jeremy Clarkson about the greatest inventions ever and Alan Turing featured on it as the inventor of the computer alongside Charles Babbage.

I know loads of people despise Clarkson but he pays tribute to Turing really well during the programme and gives a detailed description of his life from his code breaking days to his thesis on computing to his trial and eventual suicide.

Cheers for spoiler juke... so he dies at the end.

Interstellar was a major disappointment to me.
