until we get a whole new defence, we need to make the back 3 work. game far too open. against any other side, we would have conceded 4/5
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We had 2 defenders on and we haven't used a back 4 for ages. We also had a sticker in midfield.

Thought Falcao played well today. Just unfortunate he didn't score

a game of two halves

352 we look secure at the back and better in possesion

442 we looking better in attack but suicidal in defence

give LVG time to get this right and find the right formation for us

I genuinely believe LBG is just being stubborn now. He wants 352 to work because that way he will look like a tactical genius.

I mean 352 has never worked in the prem for a reason. The game here is too quick and end to end, this isn't Italy where the game is walking pace and all about tactics

when we switch to back 4 but we had Valencia and Blind at FB and rooney at CM, change it to Shaw and Rafael at FB and Blind at CM, that line up is far more solid

I don't buy into this "we can't play 4 at the back until we have better defenders".

Yes, QPR got through a few times (they did when we had 3 CBs too).... Guess what, they used to get through when we had Rio and vidic. Other teams WILL make chances.

it worked in our 11 game unbeaten run

you saw shifting to 442 we were holding on for our lives

neither formation is good as we dont have the players for it

blaming 442 is stupid.

Heisenberg

You fail to take into account the fact QPR didn't take the game to us in the first half like they did when they went 1 nil down. There was pressure for about 10 min but after that we created far more with those 2 big Flacao chances.

it's not like we've been solid with 3 at the back. Plus we didn't have RB/LB

2 subs 2 goals is LVG way of winning away games We don't make it easy, thank god for de gea pulling off save as it can go anywhere those shots.

we'll line up with 352 again in the next game

QPR created better chances when we played to 352. United created better chances when we switch to a back 4. team that creates better chances usually win

Our CBs are no worse than arsenal's, LIverpool's or Tottenham's.

I mean there is a simple solution, play BLind and Carrick in front of the defence and hve the 4 attackers interchange up front, like a 4222 formation.

We could then play 4 of di Maria, Rooney, Mata, falcao, RVp, januzaj and Wilson in their preferred positions as well
