I'm sure you won't be getting any action tomorrow night if we do lose so you'd better hope we don't
That aside best of luck for the game.
I remember that game, was truly awful. Mind you didn't we win like the previous 11 before that? Seem to remember us doing the double over you even under Hodgson
Anyway, hope for a good cup tie tomorrow
Should be a cracker either way. All the best for tomorrow.

That may be why I went ever so slightly overboard in my celebrations. I'd been to the game against you guys at Anfield that you won 2-0 with Wendy on Boxing Day and had been the recipient of some insufferably smug grins from my then future father in law for a week after it.
In fact Wendy and her dad are going tomorrow but work commitments and then looking after our autistic son so she can spend the day with her dad mean I can't. I actually do regret that as I generally enjoy going there, the banter's always been lively but friendly (at least for me) and Liverpool still have some of the best and most knowledgable fans around anywhere. I'll watch it on BT Sport with our boy.
I don't honestly expect us to win but I do think we're playing better than our current league position might suggest. Lennon has us playing some really good football and we've lost one in twelve so if I were Brendan Rodgers I wouldn't be thinking this one's in the bag by any means.
Either way a good game is what I'm hoping for with some real entertainment for those who can make the trip. Hope it's a cracker.
How old is your boy and have you done the sensible thing and let him support the mighty reds haha.

I'll look out for the firework display over the Chorley skyline at about 19:20
Peter, I'm sorry but you have to make her have it(The pain I mean).
If I was over there I'd make you a celebration cake with the Bolton Badge carefully executed with my magnificent icing skills. I would think that would do it. Six months on the couch.

He's 9 and follows his mother but I forgive him for that treasonous behaviour. I am a generous and loving father so I adapt to my children's odd little foibles secure in the knowledge that when they grow up they will mature, see the truth and follow their father's fine example by switching their support to a real football team....
It could be worse, my sister in law and her partner are both avid fans of and ST holders at Old Trafford. My uncle is ... well ... he supports ... Burnley <sob> Oh the shame ....

I'm heading to Morrison's as we speak to buy the necessary ingredients for that. But I might do the cowardly thing and make two, one with their badge on it as a way of earning brownie points should they win.
Actually, for the first time in far too long I'm feeling genuinely excited about a game against higher league opposition and think we have a real shot at winning it. After the dark days of DF it's nice to look at an upcoming game and feel real optimism.
Make up the spare bed/sofa and revel in being able to rub her face in it! Let's face it, as men we may talk a big game about the missus knowing whose in charge etc but when it comes down to it we meekly accept that she is boss and do as we're told!
Embrace your moment of victory for who knows when you'll get another!
Wendy does know who's in charge WF. So do I and it most definitely ain't me. I am a well trained, completely housebroken pet mate.
Anyway, got one more hour of boring office work to do and then it's off to my dad's to pick up my son and head for KFC on our way home before taking our seats on the couch to watch another moment of white shirted glory.
Then it's off to the dog house(attic) for a while.
A perfect result for me. A great game in which we might have nicked the win but since we didn't I'm safe from the camp bed and attic for a little while longer without having to bear a week or more of insufferably smug grins and comments from three generations of family.
And I honestly think that not only was a draw a fair result but we have a genuine chance to beat Liverpool at our own place. The Reds will still be favourites of course but given what I saw tonight I think it's a potential classic with an underdog win as the result.
Have a great weekend everyone and I look forward to seeing the replay from inside the Macron.

I wouldn't call us favourites myself but I agree the result tonight was a fair one. And my in laws have told me they'll watch our youngest lad so my wife and I can go to the replay together and just relax and enjoy the game which makes it all the sweeter.
Anyway, whatever the end result is I'm sure it'll be a great game with a cracking atmosphere and I really can't wait to be there. All the best to Liverpool in the league.

Lucky Peter, I'll send my piping bag to the ticket office. You can pick it from there.
