Best of luck to the fella!

I believe this signing is due to our lack of options when playing our new formation. Morison was the only one that could remotely play it.
Anyone got a youtube clip, so we can all make a judgement on how good he is because he cruyff turned a serie B defender? Because I've never seen the guy play and he doesn't seem to score many goals.

Scored 3 in 14 which works out at about 10 in a season, which I'd be happy with since the idea of playing 4-2-3-1 is your striker brings goals out of the attacking three.
I hope he's a success because I won't be able to cope with all the puns on his name if he can't play
Nothing about this feels good.
I hope I am wrong
Let's give the lad a chance he's not even touched a ball yet.
"Let's give the lad a chance he's not even touched a ball yet."
Lets hope he does sometime !!
More likely to be with his head given his height...
I'm just glad he's not Italian...!
Apparently they aren't to be trusted....?
Good luck to the lad.
Don't understand this unless we're going to get some wingers or revert to hoofball.
We had a tall target man in Smith, who was settled at club, knows English football, had a good goal return for his first season and can't have been on much money.
Cold understand letting him go if we were going to get away from hoofball.
Feels like we have effectively swapped him though for the same type of player, but one who is going to have to settle in England, doesn't know English football, doesn't have a good scoring record and we're now his 11th club in 7 or 8 years.
Cani or can't he ? That's my only concern.

Maybe but then again maybe not.
There are still a few hours of the transfer window left........
So you're not impressed then Jonty!?!?!?
I'll back/support the guy - but have to say it's not exactly an inspiring signing. Let's hope we become the right club for him and he goes on a scoring streak ....
Does seem completely pointless having all those strikers and still not a single winger to assist them.
VOF, I just can't see the reasons for it, unless other strikers about to depart?
I hope he does well, as I hope for any signing, but I don't see how this is going to fit into a non hoofball philosophy.
"we're now his 11th club in 7 or 8 years."
So, not only are we after the "manager's, er, coaches had" record, we're also after the strikers from record!..
There must be a trophy to be had somewhere there!.
I was also one "of" them that thought Smith should have stayed!..
Smith has continued scoring but in a lower division.
I would have gone for Doyle of Chesterfield.
Cani is going to be a gamble but someone must rate him ( surely not the cost factor). We NEED experience for the rest of the season.
Smith IMO was awful with the ball at his feet, quite often gave it away or broke moves down, but could find the net - a strange one.
This lad needs to be able to play, keep the ball and work like a dog to fit into the formation we have now, one that basically fits Morison. They both have poor goal scoring records of recent, so no idea whether he's just back up for Morison or not. Seems we bring Ant and Sharp on for midfielders and change things.
Speak to fans of his previous club, he'e not exactly a unifying influence in the dressing room.
A striker who averages about 5 goals per season.
Oh well, fingers crossed.
No more inbounds now apparently.

Looks bit chunky to me!
Good to see Adryan in shot, hopefully gets back in squad soon
Well, now we've got him here's hoping he scores a hatfull.
Albania! Albania,
Not nearly as repressive as Romania,
Easier to spell than Botswania!
And if we don't win a game,
The secret police will confiscate our dentures.
I presume that with the current formation, it's considered that we need a target man, and therefore we have like for like competition with Morrison. If we're committed to this formation I can kind of see the logic. Though I think we were interested in him before we went for this formation, so maybe he's seen as a cheaper wage option and replacement longer term for Morison and/or smith.
Whichever, on paper it doesn't look like the most inspiring signing.
