Not too fussed about bannon-not as good as spearing or medo. Janko has promise but a bit of a show pony. Le fondre good goal scorer but lack of pace, not sure. Clough and vela fantastic talents. Need to build next seasons team round them. Need a fit mavies back and one of spearing or medo back in midfield. Would like lonergan bogdan and mills to sign new contracts but maybe all 3 unaffordable. Baptiste back from Blackburn to solve the rb problem.
There's no way back for Spearing or Medo. Spearing will be sold on his return I think and Medo is out of contract at the end of the season. (Most of our loans out are). Mills has said he would like to stay and Lennon would like Bogdan to sign.
Looks like we've at least 3 deals for the summer in the pipeline. That Dutch lad Kuipers, the Northern Irish Trialist and the Czech(?) guy we've got in the development squad who's midfield. I think Lennon also has stated his need for full backs and will probably add another pacey winger as well.
This is the beginning of Lennon's style - looks as if he wants pace and players comfotable with the ball - so we can controll things when we have it and press when we don't. We've got the control almost sorted - the pressing needs a new sort of player that transition will give us I hope.
Mills pn £25k a week. Don't see him staying on that.
If we can keep Lennon, I think we could be in the process of replicating the Rioch times. The whole atmosphere and attitude of the players has changed remarkably in such a short time.
Dizzy after that one. Considering how much depth in the squad we don't have just yet it was a great game just a bug ger we lost. It's a good sign of things to come and how NL is shaping the look and feel to get up and out of the league.
Perhaps a rendition of happy days are here again wouldn't go amiss today which says a lot after a loss.
I feel a bright end to the season wherever we finish a beer in some sunshine and looking forward to the what could be the best season in years we could smash our way to promotion and amaze everybody I just have that feeling once again.
Blimey Pasty, have you shlt the bed!
Nah non of that anymore touchwood thanks to the new medication.
You know it makes sense time to put the bets on early. Mr Ed says similar so don't miss the chance to get on board.
