I was only concerned about black because I lumped it in with pikey.
Pikey is derogatory but not racial, but I thought associating black with a derogatory term would then make me appear to be racist (which I'm not).
It's a feckin minefield what you can and cannot say these days without someone being offended.
As long Floyd isn't allowed hug it would be a good fight. Pacquiao will destroy him.
Floyd can't cope with his footwork or speed.
Pikey is racial. The racial group concerned are the traveller community.

Suarez got banned for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really.
Suarez called Evra a "negrito" which doesn't translate as black.
Negro means black in Spanish and its a completely different word to Negrito.
I speak Spanish and the best way I'd be able to translate Negrito would be "little black one" although there really is no direct translation for it.
It's a feckin minefield what you can and cannot say these days without someone being offended.
------------------------------
Well you definitely can say black. There's nothing wrong with being black so why would there be a problem saying the word black to describe a black person ?
Travellers aren't a race though.. They're people from many ethnic minorities/backgrounds who choose to live a certain way.
Honestly speaking, pikey is more of a bigoted term than anything else. Probably shouldn't have used with hindsight but I guess that's what the Internet is for.. Haunting you 20 years later when you've forgotten about making wee mistakes like that
Black ain't a race as well if you want to be technical.
Anyway let's get back to arguably the biggest fight in boxing history being announced today
The fight will generate more money than any other fight in history
That's how bored we all are with it though, despite the announcement.
If it were really the biggest fight in boxing history we'd never have gotten sidetracked.
Pacquiao and Mayweather have polar fighting styles and personalities, which makes the fight all the more intriguing.

Transformers 4 made hundreds of millions of dollars.
Was a pile of shíte though.
I hope to fück we don't end up with a Michael Bay fight. All noise and no substance.
It has lost some of it's buzz for the reasons stated before.
Mayweather is ducking Khan.

very true.
I just want a good fight and I don't really care who wins.
Having said that at this stage I'd probanly prefer Manny to win because Floyd's "best ever"comments are getting out of hand.
Also we will definitely see a rematch if Manny wins.
No chance of a rematch if Floyd wins.
Will never happen due to the nature of people but everyone should boycot the fight as a fek u to mayweather.
My heart says Pac but my head says Floyd. Would've picked Pac to win 5 years ago but I will give Floyd his credit if he wins now.
Should do it at Wembley, or the Dallas Cowboys Stadium!!

Getting your excuses in early D4 have some faith in your man and save them for after the fights been done (if someone doesn't get injured beforehand of course)

Despite all the euphoria isn't it kind of sad that it's taken so much work and so many years to make this fight finally happen.
Clearly there is something very wrong with the way that boxing is structured as a sport if two of the best fighters of their generation didn't fight each other in their prime.
If not for a chance meeting at a Miami Heat basketball game this fight might never have happened.
What does that say about the current state of affairs in boxing ?? Nothing good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100 million times this.
I'm hoping against hope that neither of them retires after this fight because all it's doing is showing the next generation that you can avoid the biggest tests until the tail end of your career.
Yes it's the biggest bout out there, yes it's gonna make each fighter a massive amount of money but it's too late and everyone should be screaming that from the rooftops
The football casuals on here with their nonsense. I thought Floyd was ducking though. Arum finally cashing out on Pacman. Wouldnt suprise me if Pac buys out of his contract with Arum after this fight.

Credit?
For waiting 5 years until Pacquiao had faded enough to be beatable?

Pacquiao has more miles on the clock and his style is based more on athletic ability, and he has suffered a heavy KO defeat to Marquez.
Back then I thought the fight was a 90/10 fight in Pacquiao's favour.
In about 65/35 now.
I just hope Mayweather has not put any corrupt stipulations, does not have his positive tests samples destroyed or pay off the ref to favour him.
This is libel. Lance Armstrong couldnt buy his way out of trouble and Floyd could?
"This is libel. Lance Armstrong couldnt buy his way out of trouble and Floyd could?"
He did for well over a decade
And that reminds me there will be drug testing so we will see how good Pac really is against elite opposition. Took the tests against Rios and Algeri but avoided it against Bradley.
