A damning stat is in the past few games 2 assists, no goals.
Hmm, so if he provides a gilt edge chance and the striker fluffs it, it does not get counted, right?
Hmmm, stats, stats, stats.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, but I think the stats here are only confirming what everyone can see with their own eyes, ie that he is playing poorly, rather than being dragged up as the entire argument a la Hafi.
But how shocking is it that the record signing in the PL, United's biggest ever by a huge margin, is now getting dragged off at HT and fans want him benched for midweek.
If any club were to offer anywhere near what was paid for him - within £10m say - he should be sold, he has barely looked like a £25m player this season.
If Soldado turns things round il be amazed. I think I've seen enough of Ozil to suggest his performances for Real are miles better than what he will show for Arsenal, Di Maria still in his first season so hard to say but so far is not living up to what we had hoped.
----------------------------------------------------------------
So would i about Soldaldo, but it can happen.
Ozil, like Di Maria are both world class talents but not showing it on a weekly basis, although Ozil has been better/consistant recently. Also, both have stepped down from one a the best teams in the world to come to our respective clubs, so they may be affecting them too.
i wouldnt say Forlan failed, he was never given a proper chance at Utd.
I think fans need to stop being whiny little bítches. All players, every single one, goes through bad patches. During those times, they need support and not whining.

I'd tend you agree with you but remember you were the whiniest bittch of them all last season.
Forlan was unable to gain a spot in the first XI week in week out, for whatever reasons that was it means he was unsuccessful compared to how he played in La Liga and for Uruguay.

You just described about 70% of the supposed Arsenal supporters on 606.
Its not that hard to solve a problem like Di Maria. Play him in his best position/role. pretty basic stuff.
a) ADM is not a striker. dont play him upfront.
b) He cannot use his right foot. so dont play him on right where his options are limited, which makes him predictable and easy to play against.
c) Play him as a LCM or LW where he was one of the best players in the league in early part of the season.
ADM is struggling because his confidence is shot. IMO he will be back to his best if he get a good run in the side as a LCM or LW.
ADM works his socks off in every game. I have no idea where this 'wrong body language' nonsense coming from

I would suggest you watch the Germany v Argentina friendly after World Cup, Di Maria tore them a new one playing from right and was always dangerous for Real when he played there.
He cannot use his right foot.
-----------------------------------------------------------
for 60 mil, he should be able to use his right foot a bit.

Manager, not players
I tend to support our players, unlike some
No I havent seen the Germany v Argentina friendly, but its not that hard to see that a player with weak right foot would struggle when playing on the right, where he cannot cross or pass in field. His only option is cutting inside which makes him predictable and easy to defend against.
ADM gets plenty of space when playing for Real or Argentina because opposition have more than one player to worry about. which allows him to get away being one footed. AT United, he is probably our best attacking threat from midfield. opposition can close him down and nullify his threat easily if all he does is cut inside all the time
With a player as good as Di Maria you give him the ball all day long.
The sight of seeing Herrera, Smalling or Rooney ignoring him is excruciating.
As if a pass to each other is going to be better!
The same crime was committed when Mata was ignored by the team.
It is so obvious!
I can't disagree with that, I just think with him at full confidence that the right hand side is where we will hopefully see the best of him. Or even the left we just should not be putting him in the centre where opposition jus crowd him out.
On the Ger v Arg match, I urge you (if you care like) to find the time to watch it, Di Maria was outstanding...

Got highlights on now RD7
3 assists and a great finish for the goal.
Highlights will give you an idea of how good he was, runs/assists, really got to watch full match to see how good he was, remember being so excited by his performance
Sometimes great players don't work out at some cluba
Veron comes to mind. So does Shevchenko.
Robb that's another 2 players who struggled here but flourished in other leagues, many players do struggle to adapt to our league
Agree Red Devil. That's why I'd tend to want players doing well in the PL as preferred signings. Less time to have to settle.
You don't. At 60 million he should be solving our problems. I would sell him to PSG for marquinhios (spelling) and 30 million.
