Looking forward to his return, hopefully he can spend the next 2 months looking at this failed campaign and figure out how we can do much better next season.

Maybe the FL are worried about MC digging into certain persons past activities.........or maybe they think they've screwed us about enough for one season

The only way to feck off the FL would be for us to get promoted. Simple ...... over to you Massimo

I don't care about the FL.
We have nothing to worry about.
Cellino loses appeal.
I won't appeal I'll just step down.
Cellino will definitely be back.
No I'm not coming back as I'm going to fight this.
Cellino sells shares he doesn't have to.
Now there's some resolution and back in May.

Farce.

Absolutely superb news.

Good old Cellino...!!

The Football League have now said that they have "settled the outstanding disciplinary proceedings" against Cellino and the club and he can return from 3 May.

I'll tell you what I make of that, 'they've settled the outstanding disciplinary proceedings against him' and he's free to take the reins from 3rd May

Tremendous news.

As long as it's true of course

FL bottled it after the stance that Cellino made re fighting as an independent citizen. Genius move

This settlement is in relation to the non disclosure of the Italian Court's judgement to the Football League and extends his ban from 10 April until 3 May. He is out of the woods for now, but there are more court cases coming up in Italy that could ban him in future if they go against him. Also, he hasn't said he's coming back on 3 May, it's just that his current ban has been extended.

Hopefully he'll take this extra ban as evidence that he should sell up and leave us.

Could...?

If...?

As it stands he's free to return without hindrance after 3rd May should he so decide.

"Outstanding disciplinary hearings settled!"

Four great words

"Mr Cellino's right to challenge the decision of the Professional Conduct Committee under Football Association Rule K is unaffected by this settlement."

http://www.leedsunited.com/news/article/ttch6pgr0luf1wv1veo2wdkfq/title/statement

Cellino has used Rule K in the FA’s regulations to ask the governing body to rule on whether his suspension by the Football League should stand.

If he is successful then the outstanding court cases in Italy may not result in another ban should they go against him.

Peak, I think he'll continue his FA appeal as he needs to unset the precedent that the FL have now which makes it a lot easier to disqualify him as his future cases are judged.

What position could he come back to? He sold his limited shares, so would only be an employee, wouldn't he?

Come back as President no doubt.

This is excellent news, Cellino is the best thing to happen to us in many a year. Glad he is staying.

Come back as President and buy his limited shares back from whoever he sold them to.

That said I doubt if he will buy any shares until his appeal under rule K is completed.

The question is, why did he sell those shares.

He didn't need to do it, in fact the FL issued a statement he didn't need to do it, so why do it?

To show he means business. Worked as well

Failed campaign? What were you expecting?

Matters not why he sold the shares, the fact that he's returning without further sanctions is excellent news.

Sorry Steve

But every year were still in this league, it's a failed year

Wakey I disagree. We've got to start somewhere. If you expected promotion this year then you were always on a loser. Better football, more potential and a general improvement on the previous plus getting the club in better shape is a step in the right direction.
