Sanchez has offered no defensive cover though and Valencia can't take advantage,
He needs to overlap Di Maria more often so he doesn't have to cut in and cross every time. I think Rafa would do that slightly better.

First time I've watched United this season and been excited.

I disagree. Valencia has been perpetually out of position and was at fault for the goal.

No he wasn't. Smalling left an absolute chasm in the middle which he had to fill. Smalling should have covered him.

Wazza upfront is one of the best around

Our entire midfield has been poor tonight. I can't name one player today who's been good other than Di Maria but I can say we've been fairly decent. Don't know how that's possible.
