No love for JM whatsoever but it's worth noting the hundred's (financially doped) of millions spent to assemble their side.
Last night again proved that the Premir league teams are quite a way behind Europes elite. Maybe fairly exciting to watch (although this season I don't think it is) but technical wise we gave a lot of catching up to do.
Jose could have no complaints. Over the 2 legs PSG by quite a distance were the better side. I think a lot of chelsea fans have admitted that to

Very true. As United fans we have been used to it over the years.
Although must say good teams win the league great teams win the league and CL double
League and capital one cup?
It might just be that the pace, power and intensity of the PL is not conducive for a team to contest the PL and win the CL at the same time. Only United have won the PL and CL in the same season. The other English teams to win the CL finished 5th and 6th in the league.
Perhaps the lack of intensity of the French league helped PSG play with 10 players so comfortably last night. Or possibly they might have been underestimated and out-thought, out-fought and out-played their unadventurous opponents.

Chelsea had a free weekend with no fixture whilst PSG didn't,paint it anyway you want, but in my book a free weekend without a fixture is better than playing a competitive league game no matter what the opposition is.
I must say I have a feeling you bitters won't be able to handle finishing in Europey Spots.
