Not really, its stalled big time after an initial big influx and how many of those 17k actually comment?
I hope we do start to see another big influx though on some of the teams boards who are just dead i.e Norwich.

There is a natural churn, people like JJG can go 6 months between a comment. The member count has never been a massive deal though we would like to increase it significantly. There are million+ people who view the site over a typical year most have no interest in joining(I was one of them on old 606 as was Admin2.)

The question I would have to ask, is why when you google "Football forum" does the Midlands Non-League Football Forum come up before JA606? Note I've gone through the first 7 pages of results and not seen a mention.
Know very little about SEO, but this seems bizarre considering how many irrelevant results came up but not JA606, a forum with hundreds/thousands of members
We don't do any seo, we leave it totally organic and at the mercy of the content our members create. We avoid mention of football forum, even though that is for the most part what it is.
