Remy is a bit one dimensional but he knows where the net is. I can see why they bought him in. Be interesting to see who Chelsea buy this summer. Wouldn't surprise me to see Benzema come in. Bit leftfield but maybe even someone like RvP.

They can have RVP if we can have Hazard

You don't want the same 3 playing style strikers

This is the New Era Chelsea now. FFP wise Chelsea.

RVP would be a big no, imo. Big wages, little resale value + injury prone.

Benzema.. Dont personally rate him as an elite striker. Not in the mould of Aguero but again dont see the club going for him. Would want big wages, transfer fee would be hefty too.

Young/youngish players from lesser clubs/leagues will be the way forward I think. Not established superstars. There'll be exceptions though.

Hoody

We have had this conversation in the office today.

I would be very disappointed if our strength in depth has not improved come August deadline day.

That isn't exactly the hallmark of José's career though, is it?

Especially when you look at his successful signings in this stint at Chelsea, his younger signings haven't really come off, or is the machine gun approach most likely?

That certainly didn't work with us, and we wound up with a lot of deadwood in the squad.

Could see Mandzukic (sp) or something then Mr C. Borini going home?

Oh just fúck off TCP. You're the site joke and your inane ramblings are frankly not welcome. Thanks in advance.

Icardi is someone who's been linked with us a lot, exactly the type of signing we'd make. But doubt he's any better than Remy, though he is younger

What's Chelsea's HG quota looking like next season?

posted on 13/4/15

I'd be perfectly happy with: Costa, Remy & Brown for next season.

Yeah Busby, by young I dont mean too young but mid 20s.. who are stil plying their trade in the dutch league, french league or at one of the lesser clubs in Spain. Not established but not completely unknown either.

Brown? Us that a youth or the guy from WBA?

Oh, didn't José sign Fabregas and Matic? Nobody mentioned them

posted on 13/4/15

Yeah that's the one, looks a good prospect and physically he looks ready so I think he'd be the perfect thrid choice behind two seasoned pros. We've got to use them at some point and he's knocking.

Ah, José does like to do that. I think most clubs do where possible mind, get in there before Madrid or Barca do and capture them for their best years.

Portuguese/Dutch leagues are the ones to go to

Well we only have Cahill, Terry and Fabregas right now. We've been linked with Green

Shocking start to the season but he looks a handful. As said Mandzukic could apparently move and he'd fit.

What about HG? Chelsea okay with this?

I wondered why you wanted Green

Surely there are better options out there if you're to replace Cech?

Rob Green
Bet he cant believe his luck.

I can see Green or McCarthy coming to either Chelsea or LFC this summer.
