Back to Real for Bale and ££
Not yet, give him the summer and pre season to get settled. There are plenty of cases where players have failed in their first season, nothing strange.
He showed in his first 3 games for us he can handle the PL, and the stats show he has made some important contributions this season. Next season with a few more signings the squad will be even better equipped to do what LVG wants and hopefully di Maria will be more comfortable.
We've all seen the talent the guy possesses and last season at Real shows he can be great and consistent, just like with anything you need to be comfortable with your surroundings. To early to be panicking.
I'd sell.
However, for £50m I don't think there's anyone in our team I wouldn't sell for that price. Maybe Herrera.
I wouldn't be too disappointed to see him go, I feel there are players out there far more suited to our game than him.
And If we were to cut our losses and get rid of him in the summer I don't think we'd get anywhere near 50 mill, I think we would be looking at around 35 mill.
why would you back a player like Fellaini as if your life depended on it, but be ready to ship someone with ADM's ability out of the door after one season??
has he been amazing, nope, far from it, but he is only second to Fabregas in the assists department so he must be doing something right.
you seem to have this idea that had PSG come in for him, he would have goine there, but there is absolutely no proof of this anywhere other than the normal media BS that is spouted every day.
like i say, Fellaini was utter dog shít last season and you backed him to the end, this after plying his trade in the PL for 4 or 5 years, yet ADM should be sold after one season in a new country?

TBF di Maria did publically state that had PSG made a bid he would have happily joined them. But they spunked all their cash on Luis.

wasnt this before UTD even showed an interest though, i believe it was.
im sure had PSG had the money and made a bid, Di Maria would have gone if Utd hadnt shown any interest at that point, why wouldnt he??
if a player shows no effort and desire then i'd question him, but as it is, despite his poor form, the guy still tries, at the minute its just not working out.

No, from what I can remember is was a few months into joining us. He was explaining how he ended up at us because PSG couldn't afford to pay him because FFP limited their spending to just Luis, leaving the path free for us to make a bid.
Depends on the losses incurred.
If you offered me the sake of Di Maria and the signing of somebody if a similar ability, I probably would.
Problem is, there aren't that many talented wingers about who are available. In fact, I couldn't name you one.
ADM doesn't suit our current style of play, you say. So get rid.
Nah. Our style of play will morph under LVG - starting with a full pre-season, no mickey mouse USA tours, and the shipping out of deadwood. More suited signings to come. Transition season for LVG.

thats what i mean though, the original links with PSG were before we were linked with him.
like i say, had they had the finances he would have gone there, but they didnt and he ended up at Utd.
Had we made a bid at the same time PSG did and he had said that, then i'd have concerns, but thats not how it happened so i dont see the problem with what he said.
not once has he said " i wish id never joined Utd and went to PSG instead".

Lennon? If that was a serious suggestion you need a slap.
I'm sure if Di Maria was up for sale for 20m in the summer the phones would be off the hook!

It was a serious suggestion, if he's good enough to play a leading part in wiping the floor with you 3-0 why isnt he good enough to play for you? hope he signs for Everton anyway tbh and less of the slap talk tiger
Ah I see whats happening here, okay there isnt anyone out there who would be good enough for Man United wow
the words 'rude awakening' spring to mind
I would give him time, he's more talented than Fellaini and see how LvG has improved him. Imagine the wonders he could perform with Di Maria

cant believe how aggressive and arrogant you are tbh - I suggest an inform winger who will be available in the summer and get aload of abuse for it why would Bale etc or anyone else you're dreaming about want to sign for you anyway?
Yes. I will. Never wanted him at United. I have watched fair bit of Madrid before he joined us. He was frustrating 75% of the time. He has been no different at united. 60m for once in a while brilliance

Kerching! We have the money to get them here.
We'll have Nani coming back next season.

Real are the biggest club around and have more chance of winning their domestic league and the champs league so again why would he want to sign for you?

Would you cut our losses Di Maria?
