In the words of the song
We always leave the worst till last.
Almost as spineless a performance as the last time we played Reading in the last game.
It should have started raining heavily so McClaren could appear with his brolly to make the tragedy complete.
Still saved me money on at least another trip to the iPro and at least next season I wont have the loud mouthed idiot behind me (unless he moves as well).
Roy Mac was sacked for not winning the play offs, McClaren will probably get a better paid job for not even qualifying for them. If he wants to go to Newcastle I will happily drive him there.
Thanks waggy.
I feel better already
Yes, thanks Waggy - what a poster
And Spart, Ill drive you to the nearest jump off point.
I'm really annoyed at how we just rolled over today. Reading were nothing special. No way we should have let them win 3-0. Yet we did. Wtf!!!!!
McClaren should go. He's been great for Derby up to now but the repeated dodging of making a commitment to Derby is irritating me and must be destabilising for the club. Better he leave at this point, even if he doesn't take the Newcastle job, else he'll just continue to be linked to every decent job going and the associated unease will undermine our obviously fragile team morale.
On the plus side. Championship is not so bad. More fixtures, less expensive away games, better chance of watching us win.
Im geared up foe next season right now.
Who've we got first game?
Larry
My impression from the immediate post match interview was that he DID commit himself to Derby and next season........
Fixtures come out on June 17th
So we'll know the date for the Newcastle fixture
No he didn't Heb, he gave the politician answer by answering another question. Are you going to Newcastle, I don't know how these rumours start. I am contracted to Derby etc. He did not say no, because it's obvious he's going.
Spart I'll help you with your fuel bill if you run him up north and please drop the Leeds bloke off at his home as well.
You don't stop laughing because you grow old.
You grow old when you stop laughing
We are Derby, forever
Come to think of it I might drop Shotton and Albertosser of as well. I fancy a trip to Spain via Stoke.
And what was Lingard doing on the pitch, far too lightweight.
I'd have put my life on Bent scoring from the pen, so now I'm dead.
Meanwhile, in sunnier climes, WI 21-3 after 9 overs, trail by 236..............
Lingard bos shít, that much is sorted
It's like I've said before Spart, we lost the team spirit when the fancy dans came, earning big money and upsetting the rest. Give me Russell and Ward any day than Ince and Lingard.
There's no "I" in team.
No, but there's a hole in the 'A'......
Yes, bloody Warnock has been a real disaster from his first game to his hopefully last. Albentosa is league 1 quality, Lingard is light weight and will never make a footballer. Christie and Shotton haven't pulled up any trees. Apart from Thorne who has been out injured, who has McClaren signed who has added to the quality of the side?
Ince and Bent have done their bit but neither convince me that they are team players.
Well, for the final Match Thread of the season, Fin should really make an appearance in about 3 posts' time
Jimmy Anderson making the ball talk in Barbados.
Three wickets for two runs.
Football? What's that?
Spart I agree with every word you posted! You can add Dawkins as well for me, I'm not convinced he's got it.
It's just been a shame about Thorne.
Let the post mortem begin
Bye bye, grant. Ward warnock, Christie, forshìt, Brywho and Shítton
Maybe next season you should try building your own team rather than borrowing everyone elses
