One Premier League game? I'm facepalming and agreeing with the OP. What a stinking crock of shitstick.
He forgot to add the word qualifying before "premier league game". Obviously when English players play for Rovers, they lose their nationality during their time at the club, so any games played for us can't be counted in future selection decisions. Phil Jones has played 1 game as an english player in the premier league.
You have to display a wry smile after those comments otherwise your head will explode and you will have to mop it up.
I think comments from such elevated people are very poor. They are paid handsomely and have a lot of time on their hands to get their facts correct. It is hugely unprofessional.
Having said that, I lost interest in Capello and England years ago.
Just shows the state of the game today!Capello cant even answer a decent question because he cant speak the language,how on earth does he do team talks and tactics.I think our man Kean would be better even if he is a Scot.afterthought maybe he also has language problems.
