Interesting, if that's genuine, expect members of Anelkalouda to disband before the deadline. The fact that Kalou and Benayoun couldn't even make the bench yesterday and the players who forced them off it (Mata & Lukaku) had fantastic games leaves it looking ominous for a few members of the squad. Especially if even more are added to it before Wednesday.
It's fantstic though, i remember this time last year are bench looked so ineffectual. So amazing the difference a year makes in football.
Let's hope so! Very excited to see what Sturridge can do given a proper run of games. Him combined with Mata and Torres is a mouth-watering prospect. They should hopefully provide better service for him and give us the chance to see whether Torres can make it here, providing they don't become too selfish with te ball themselves.
Sturridge
No more Anelkalouda! Starting anyway
On another note if Kalou and Benayoun can't make the bench what hope does kakuta have? He should go on loan
If it were up to me, Kakuta and McEachran would've been loaned out a long time ago.
Kakuta won't dislodge Mata. He's my hero
Kakuta on the bench ahead of Anelkalouda please.
Glad your not the manager then HHHBF, were going to need McEachran this season, especially if we don't get a CM before deadline day.
Yesterday was crying out for him!
Kalou can stay but Benelouda can go.
Why McEachran? If Modric comes (and Benayoun goea) and ge gets injured we're stuck with Lampard, Ramires, Mikel and Romeu as our only first team options in CM..
And if we don't get a midfielder we have to give Josh a chance - no excuses
I think AVB will use this season to transition us from Lamps to McEachran. But I think he is waiting for the rest of the team to start playing the way he wants first before introducing Josh.
I think Josh would HELP the team play the way he wants.
Having five central midfielders in a team that's blessed with the striking options we do, and a manager who yesterday showed he's flexable is more than enough. It's a balancing act, likewise if we have a relative clean bill of health for the majority of the season, then we've wasted another year on McEachran's development as he sit patiently on the bench. Remember Essien's back in the new year aswell.
I'm sure he would.
Let's judge whether Josh will get his chance this season after something like 10 games rather than just 3.
Bon jour mes amis
I return to find the cash has been splashed and Mata is one of us now, touch.
Brummie, last time we spoke you were preparing for a little tour of your own glad I've not missed you fella, and you are spot on, yesterday was tailor made for Josh,
Unfortunately methinks time is running out for Frank, it seems Ramires has a better engine, and makes these box to box runs that are so hard to track.
I thought Lukaku played well with his back to goal, he and Ramires could well be the new midfield/striker pairing a la Lampard/Drogba.
I have not read one single paper whilst away, has anything more happened
Absolutely delighted that Sturridge will be put straight into the first team after serving his ban.
He will become a key member of the team. I´m sure of it.
Well Sands CFC-Steve filtered Wumger on the haven - don't think it made the papers though!
How was the holiday mate - have France got any wine left now?
I've got another Two weeks to go mate, I should be there this time in 14 days!
Spurs appear to be hanging on to Modric - but some papers are rumouring that we might try once more with £40m!
not much left mate, at less than 1 euro for a very palletable sparkling white, and the same for local red/white, I had a field day, France will take some time to recover let me tell you, I nearly left the kids there in order to stock up.
I stayed in Picardy and visited al the WW1 sites ,along with the graves which incidentally are immaculately kept, but the grave of guards was the most amazing of all, a lightly armed recon group of 98 guardsmen came upon some fleeing French soldiers who had been devastated by the persuing Germans, the split to the left and right of the woods, and let Fritz have it from above, completely out manned and ridiculously out gunned, the kept them busy long enough for the French to get their wounded away, but every man jack died, their major was a ripe old 30 year old, and the oldest of the subs was 26, most were in their teens.
Have to admit to a touch of smoke in the eyes at the place.
There but for the grace of him upstairs mate.
A truely wonderfull part of the country though fella, you should take a drive down there, you'd love it.
They make some fantastic cider too, so it was a win win situ for the sandsenders
