Burnley visit them next week with one last throw of the dice for keeping their Premier League status. They probably need to win all three of their remaining matches and rely on favours elsewhere.
However, I still back Hull to win that match; if they don't then they're in trouble and will probably need a win from Spurs away and Man Utd at home.
Hopefully we will beat Sunderland for you as well.
6 points in return next season please.

Oh come on lads. After being 3-0 up at half time the least you could have done was to bash their goal difference a bit more in the second half!
Id have been gutted if Hull would have won yesterday. Like I will be if Sunderland win at Everton. It's in our hands and a few favours wouldn't go amiss.
As it is if Sunderland lose sat and we win it will b extremely unlikely that they overtake us, even if they beat us.
Saturday could be massive for us (like they've all not been for the last 2 months!!).
If Everyon do their duty and beat Sunderland, and we win against Southampton, we're all but safe.
However, if the reverse happens which is easily possible, it starts to look sure for us.
I really can't cope with this season. It's killing me!!!
I Newcastle lose atte weekend, a point becomes an excellent result for us....
... too much I think about.
Yeah I really hope Everton don't let us down again, surely they can bounce back but it would be just our luck for Sunderland to scrape a 1-0.
I think we'll beat Southampton and if West Brom (the one game I want them to win) can beat Newcastle then they're in the bottom three and us and Sunderland are two points clear. This would mean a draw might be a good result for both us and Sunderland.
This weekend is the biggest of the season by far.
They probably need to win all three of their remaining matches and rely on favours elsewhere.

I think they do have to win them all don't they. They are eight points from safety so a draw would put then seven with only six points to get right?
For me, it feels like this weekend's game is the calm before the storm. Granted, we could finish the weekend two points from safety, but the Sunderland match looks so massive that it's hard to look past that right now. The significance of this weekend's match (and this weekend's fixtures in general) is whether any pressure can be taken off that Sunderland match.
I think 4 points from any of the remaining matches is probably enough, and 3 if that includes not losing to Sunderland. But a win this weekend would ease the nerves a lot.
Well, a bit.
Maybe slightly.
chesham - on reflection, yes they do. It is still vaguely possible that they'll survive, but it's very unlikely.

Sunderland should go down from this position. But amazingly despite the upturn in form of leicester and villa. One bad result at the weekend for either and you both could very realistically still go down.
Crazy end to the season
Just glad our shocking group of average players have all but secured safety again for another year
A loss for Leicester or Hull this weekend and it'll be down to GD for us for the final place. A point for us at Newcastle and a Leicester or Hull loss means we are safe...
For me though, the Foxes are as good as safe. Easier run-in and QPR on the last day...
heisenberg, surely you realise it's a nailed on loss against a resurgent Newcastle now that arro wants you to win.
I'm struggling to think about anything else!
I might have a bet on Newcastle to beat West Brom then they're bound to lose ha ha
Can't see us losing this weekend. I don't see us letting our foot off the gas and I don't expect Southampton to be able to cope with us any better than five out of the last six teams have. We're the form team, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, and we've scored as many as Man City in the last six. I just think the way we're playing and the crowd only leads to me thinking we'll win again.
I can see Sunderland getting a result at Everton now though just because that would be typical.

Agreed and something that won't have gone unnoticed. After last weekends shenanigans at Newcastle it would be just typical for them to now play like Barca.....
A special mention to you guys for doing your bit for us in getting as many of them banned as you could...
So close. Like every game now. You probably can't really afford to lose. Amazing that if you lose there is a genuine possibility you'd be in the bottom 3. Yet a win could take you to the brink of safety
