fair play to Floyd if he is up for a rematch. Will give him that chance to get elusive 50 unbeaten too.
But will people be as hyped up this time around?
The only point of this is money and conning the public that it could be a different fight and result
We know it will go basically the same way as the first bout

Rather he fought Khan

Me too
Don't want to see Floyd v Manny again
It panned out as most boxing fans thought
Khan will give more problems to Floyd than Manny did or ever will

Mentioned on another thread, don't mind if they do it again in a big stadium for the average fan, if it's the same deal though, not interested.
The fight on the weekend reminded me off Haye V Klitschko. So much hype, so much excitement and both fights were a damp squib.
Haye couldn't touch Klitschko and Manny could barely touch Floyd.
Both after fight blamed injuries.
Don't want to see the rematch at all.
Great if Pacquiao is 100% then Pacquiao wins
Both Wlad and Floyd loved to hug as well, at least Wlad got a point deducted.
He needs to get a new team first, ones that know how to fill simple forms out
A 100% Mayweather stepping out of first gear knocks Pacquiao out in a rematch, he didn't want to embarrass his inferior foe so let him win a couple of rounds.
Mayweather wants that 100m payday again. Why not cash out again. Instead of dropping down back to 32m for a fight against con or cotto. Just fight pacman for 100m again

The media is to blame or the ignorant public for believing it would be anything different than it was

I'd like to see Mayweather knock someone out. Would be a collectors item, certainly in recent years.
He doesn't need to though Superb, if he gets it then fine, otherwise his opponents getting potshotted all night long

By the sound of it Pacquiao's team should be working in Fawltey Towers alongside Manuel.
If this is all true I would sack my entire team if I were Pacquiao. Roach included with his "game plan to beat Floyd" .
Amateurs.
Mayweather gave a lot of respect to Pacquiao in the first fight
That respect won't be there if there is a rematch
Would be an easier victory and can see Manny getting badly hurt next time round
Would all be a money spinner anyway
I don't know if there is much point in a re-match... Other than to put to bed this whole injury thing.
It was Manny's gameplan, or lack of, that cost him the fight. There were points where he looked good enough (i.e. not inhibited by a injury) but tactically Floyd outclassed him.

There would be little interest in a 're-match' no matter how much they try and hype it. The first one was more like an exhibition fight, a second attempt at convincing punters would be a waste of everyone's effort.

You would still watch it. As would i and most other boxing fans.
I'm just glad manny put the "floyds much bigger" argument to bed when he said they were the same size
D4 you don't take into account clouds injury against Castillo so same should apply here??
how long will it be b4 manny recovers from his shoulder injury? ??? ?? ?
Dunno Rob, but he might be doing the rehabbing in jail
