People painting Russia as enemy of the world are very strange. People were angry trump has built a relationship with Putin. Very strange as many of those claim to be antiwar. I don't find it shocking Russia would rather Trump than Clinton in charge as Clinton is very anti-Russia. There's more evidence for Clinton and the Ukraine than trump and russia

They might have interfered, there's no evidence of any collusion. Even if there was a hint of it we wouldn't stop hearing about it.

As per various statements to the senate, it is unlawful for any federal investigator to disclose sensitive information relating to ongoing investigation(s).

However that hasn't stopped investigative journalists (and there are many from all backgrounds/views) who have got their hands on sensitive info - federal investigators are unable to divulge.

Then there's the lies and cover ups from the Whitehouse.

First Manafort resigns (Trump’s campaign manager). Then Flynn – his national security advisor. Both because of links to Russia.

Kushner the latest to say he had no contact with the Russians despite him fronting the digital campaign which has since been proven to have been in regular contact with the RSS.

Trump junior hung himself by releasing his email exchanges with the Russians. Despite initially denying he had any contact/knowledge.

The West wing eat your heart out

nothing burgerIf anything ever comes out of it I'll happily admit I'm wrong, but it's a whole lot of nothing repackaged by the media to make it out to be some kind of scandal. And anti trump people there are so desperate they will latch onto anything that criticises him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good comment. Doubt this is much more than something for Trump haters to get temporarily excited about. Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

this weeks false outrage on trump will be on transgenders in the military then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's just string up hate against the trans community so that people talk about that instead of him and his family committing treason.

Who the Hell would want to serve anyway with that imbecile as commander in chief.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually it's as they want longer to study the medical obligations that come with allowing Transgender in the army.

Those who are Transgender and currently serving won't be and can't be punished

Well his lawyers have said they have no discussed it.

Happened around the same time congress started blocking Obama care repeals
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which is exactly what any competent lawyer *would* say!

To acknowledge, or give credence to the situation would make things considerably worse.

The intelligence services would not have been able to gain a FISA warrant (Trump tower) unless they had 'due cause' to do so.

Same reason for the Russia investigation. The intelligence services do not launch formal investigations without good reason to do so.

He sacked Comney who was heading the FBI investigation and now he's going to sack Mueller. The special counsel leading the investigation into the collusion allegations.

Trump may well survive impeachment but as I mentioned previously if the findings are as bad as many believe, his chances of a second term are slim.

Did you watch any of the committee hearing on Russian interference? The first link.

Russian interference in the US election has been established.

Trumps campaign links to the Russian secret service has been proven. How far reaching and levels of collusion have not.

But to suggest there's "no proof given the evidence indicates otherwise is extremely naive.

So why lie?

If there was nothing to hide, why did various members of Trump's entourage falsely deny (on countless occasions, over a one yr period) that no one from his campaign team had had any contact whatsover with the Russians.

Only when it was revealed they did, their accounts changed to say they did meet, but forgot, or that contact was innocuous/completely innocent.

In the emails Trump jr released it proved he was going to meet the Russian lawyer who had obtained info (remembering the Russians had recently hacked the GOP servers) on Clinton.

And furthermore DT jr was open to exploiting the information in the election campaign.

Whether the info exchanged hands or not. Clear intent.

In this instance, I suspect that is one element the various federal investigations will be trying to ascertain.

I would say that the Trump controversy is doing a sterling job of distracting from the awful work being done by his party.
