Tom Watson condemns the GMB and Unite union leftists and others calling the seven traitors...saying they did something unforgivable.. calling them light weights with no opinions and policies.

Nasty party.

Needs reforming and saved from Militant
/ Momentum....that centre left luvvies league.

The bullies and racists and antisemites and Islamist groups must come from Mars, as the labour far left are never to blame.

Meh give me Corbyn over the likes of Umuna any day. Umuna is the worst of both worlds, wanting to reverse Brexit and a Blairite.

Unlike the ERG they left because they disagree with their leadership. Who'd have thought Chuka Umunna would be less cowardly than Rees-Mogg.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You didn't mention the other thing they said.

Labour being an institutionally racist party. Their words not mine.

Just saying - you left that bit out, H.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No i didnt, I was agreeing with you, they took a principled stand, unlike the ERG.

Anti-semitism is abhorant as is all forms of discrimination.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with you on anti-semitism.

Unfortunately the leader of the Labour Party doesn't agree with you.

Thus the exodus of MPs from an institutionally racist party.

Sorry if this has been discussed already but:

When MPs quit a party while they are an MP, should a By-Election at their constituencies automatically be triggered?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Then they can tell people what they really believe and what they stand for.

One of them has already been outed as an actual racist so this anti semitism twaddle is not going to fly.

There was a bizarre moment on Twitter today when Richard Burgon (Shadow Cabinet - Corbynite) tweeted about this issue.

He basically said it's got nothing to do with racism, just "disagreeing with the leader".

First reply to his tweet was from a fellow Corbynite and Labour Party member - "Richard's right, these people are taking orders from Israel."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isreal are absolutely directing these attacks on Corbyn, that’s not news to people surely?

Anyone get to watch John Oliver's segment about Brexit?

If what he's saying is 100% accurate, could be quite interesting for the Ireland and NI border!

By interesting, do you mean bloody, dangerous and violent?

WTF so the independent group want to operate in the shadows as a corporate entity and not a political party.

So transparently shady.

Certainly attracts the criticism that they've been incentivised by these undeclared backers.

So, why are they asking for political donations if they aren't a political party?
So conscious of supporting the views of British people that they conjure up some entity in Panama away from UK jurisdiction to operate from.

Dodgy as fack.

I have never watched John Oliver after his very misleading video on another issue I am clued up on. I put him in the same bracket as Last Leg. Mash Report and Mock The Week, shows I take a very dim view of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only thing you're clued up on is how your ass tastes, considering how often you talk out of it.

Disagree on the ERG by the way, although it's not relevant to Labour. Conservatives have always reflected a broad spectrum of opinion on Europe. That said, a split is possible, theoretically. I wouldn't like to predict what happens in the next couple of months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They insisted, put their names down on a list, had (and lost) a vote if no confidence in their leader, pretty clear that the 7 dwarves have more courage in their convictions than Rees-Mogg and the ERG.

Just saying, you forgot that bit.

Brexit Britain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeez! We really are regressing.

The language used against him, spray painting 'no blacks' on a door, car factories closing, a mad woman in no 10, a socialist Labour leader, MPs breaking away to form a new party, fear of trouble in NI...what next? Kids going to school in itchy homemade wooly v-necks and Freddy Mercury rocking the wireless??

Is anyone else disgusted that the 7 MPs are holding their seats as independents instead of bi-elections being held?

Surprised both the tories and Labour aren’t pushing for it.

Cant believe any were voted in for their individual influences

And resigned as labour MPs. Their seats should be up for re-election.
