Bit about cleaning hands on here in the last day, I use hibiscrub, gives 6 hours protection from bacteria and viruses.

Will be taking a thermos tower and small amount of it to work when I go back on Thursday to wash my hands every two hours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you recovered?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still struggle with breathing if I walk, seem to. Have a sore throat back again this morning but the cough is very infrequent now, probably three 4 times a day max, and usually because my breath is short
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sure you will, but be on the side of caution before you return to work. You don't want to be a spreader. 👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently you aren't contagious 7 days after symptoms appear, i will have left it 14
----------------------------------------------------------------------
14 is safer and wise.

Bojo saying he will be back in 7 days is wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless he has access to treatment no one else does I can't see how he can be. Never mind not being contagious some people still have symptoms at day 10

Health minister mentioned last night along the lines of they can’t enforce much more restrictions on the population
Also said it will be difficult to maintain this for more than 2 weeks if necessary
Should be interesting
Also fooking sun is shining and nowhere to go
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is why Irish and Brits closed schools and work late, imo.

It's been one week and we are moaning already, but schools closing is until September, and lockdown will be to June, according to experts.

We demanded action and got it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We actually closed up a good week before the UK
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, you beat us to it by days, but we all let Italians travel here, and we all kept travelling abroad and continued going to Cheltenham and pubs and still socialize in numbers in UK and Ireland.

We should have locked down weeks ago when we saw what happened in Italy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Allowing Cheltenham to go ahead was utter madness

Bout ye.

No nordies going South up to Donegal to beaches this weekend, at last???

Stay safe and sane.

How is Leo doing with public opinion...And is a new govt on hold?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
New government should be in place soon (needs to be)

General consensus me included is they are shock horror doing a decent job
Never thought I’d say that about our politicians
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is Leo doing right that we are doing wrong, mate?

Or is UK just too divided, whereas, Irish folk unite more easily.??

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know
I do think we as a people are good at uniting as has been shown in the past
Still a lot of bullish stubbornness among UK folk . No offence intended to anyone on here

That’s the massive danger imo, complacency, apathy and the pampered majority deciding they’ve had enough of being told what to do.

I think the government may have to tighten things up even further to keep a grip on things.

People in southern Italy losing it as parents seek food for family.

Did you see the Maradonna film yet Irish, as we see how Naples is viewed as lesser than the rest of Italy.

Mafia type gangs organising attacks on stores too in southern Italy, per Euronews

Watching it tonight

I work in Italy more than anywhere at the moment (well I did).

During a contract in Bari, the hatered the northern Italians had for the locals was shocking.

Not wishing to drag you into anything, but you can see how the UK and Ireland are reacting to covid.

Lei called school closures days before UK did so, but the lockdown work and social distancing in the UK came days before Irela nd did the same.

Now, both jurisdictions are largely following suit, yet Leo and Irish leaders are praised, whereas, UK leaders are attacked much more.

And from what I hear, apart from the Trump tweets etc, America is being more pro-active than UK or Ireland, but their NY numbers are massive, so it looks really bad.

Testing is the way ahead, for UK and Ireland, and not always making this about the pm or political party politics, would be refreshing.

But, it will not happen.

Un-united kingdom.

Tory v Corbyn mindset.

While I think we were slow off the mark Trump definitely ignored it for political reasons
Ffs the we will be down to no cases thing was ridiculous

Boris(now infected) was boasting about shaking hands with covid patients. Like trump, it was indicative of an irreverent incomptence at the very top of our political system. It has genuinely angered me.

The UK Government missed the deadline to join an EU-wide scheme to get extra ventilators because of "communication confusion", according to Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove.
-----------
Suppose such minor mistakes are easy to make. Just ventilators, no harm no foul.
