Of course we can Heisenberg. It stands to reason. If you add up the points we are ahead of Villa down to Sunderland (the teams who can catch us) it comes to 29. The teams below have a total of 16 games to play which gives 48 points. Deduct 3 points for Leicester v Sunderand because they can't both get 3 points. Putting us in to lose our 3 matches and all the others to win all theirs we are relegated on 40 points. Sorry to burst your bubble.
However it is reasonable to assume Sunderland won't win at Arsenal and Chelsea and that Hull won't win at Man utd so we are reasonably safe.
Heis, we can get relegated. Using the Predictor, ignore Burnley and QPR for now because they can't catch us. Concentrate on giving wins to Villa, Newcastle, Leicester and Hull, including when these teams play Burnley and Hull, and have Albion lose all their games. Even Everton and Palace can still be caught, so when these two play any club below them, award a win to the lower-placed team.
On my Predictor final table, I have Burnley bottom, QPR in 19th place and Albion in 18th place on 40 points, two points behind Sunderland.
I'm not sure whether to or .

Yep safe.
Disappointing that Villa, Leicester and Sunderland will probably finish above us.
Just shows what a shocking first half of the season we had (17 points from 19 games - shambles) and how last summer's recruitment damaged us.

---------------
Why will they?
We're unbeaten in 4 games.
8 points from 4 games.
And two of those games against Liverpool and ManUtd. One of the others against a then-in-form Crystal Palace.
If WBA got 2pts a game all season, theyd finish on 76 points.
And from what I read still some fans arent happy?
The modern fan is a strange sort of person....
They need to get over Tony Pulis's appointment as manager and realise that, without him, we'd be relegated by now. Unless they can name a better manager who was available at the time.
As much as I don't like Tony Pulis, I'm not completely stupid. I can appreciate as well as the next man that he's done a pretty good job this season...
I actually like the guy as a person, and his record, well, you can hardly argue with the number of seasons he's had in the PL. The quality of the football at Stoke was awful, especially given the amount of time he had there to change things, but you can't argue with his PL Manager of the Year at Crystal Palace last season, and for us, this season, he's been exactly what we needed. Next season is another chapter.
I really don't get this 'keep your trap shut if you can't name a better manager than Pulis' argument.
believe it or not, i'm not blessed with the club's extensive scouting network. We've got people monitoring not only players across the continent, but they're also monitoring coaching staff.
I have very limited knowledge of what coaches/managers are or were available and why should I?
I'm not arguing about points on the board, I never have been. However, I don't want to spend my time watching us continually adopt negative tactics. I'm not referring to away days at Man Utd. I'm talking about when we're playing against teams like Leicester and QPR at home where we should be putting them to the sword with attacking football.
May be Pulis will prove me wrong and i'll be more than happy to fall on my sword if he does but all I can see is more of the same 'safety first, second and last' approach.
One last point and another reason i'd like to see him replaced before the close season is his transfer record. After adopting negative tactics at Stoke which initially kept them up (sounds familiar?) he failed to evolve the squad and the way they played. That all ended in tears. At Palace he inherited a pretty good squad and got them playing well. He didn't sign players like Bolasie. He couldn't sign a player like him if he tried.
I'm dreading who he'll target this summer. Carlton Cole anyone?

Cox, no one's telling anyone to keep their trap shut. However, Albion were in real danger of being relegated under Irvine and something had to be done, and that something has worked. No one is saying they like the football we've seen under Pulis, but at least it's achieved its purpose for this season. As I said previously, next season - beginning this summer - is another chapter, but if you really want Pulis replacing now, who would you like to replace him? You don't have to answer, of course, but some idea might be interesting.
OK, may be not "trap shut" but you were suggesting I needed to come up with an alternative to justify my point of view. I don't need to come up with an alternative to justify the fact that watching Albion under Pulis is painful even when we're getting results.
JH. I don't quite understand your point re. Fletcher. I don't really rate the guy. Let's see how he gets on when we've not constantly got 10 players behind the ball and we're looking to attack. Sorry, forgot. That won't happen under Pulis!
I see we're now being linked with Scott Sinclair

By the Albion?
Liking Pulis or not, we're in a position where we can watch one of Hull, Newcastle, Sunderland, Lesta or Villa get relegated.
Some tricky fixtures. QPR will now probably play like Barca, Sunderland play Lesta and Villa away to a, currently, schit Southampton.
Hull looking favorites for me though.
Hull for me too. Poor old Steve Bruce, he just hasn't got it, has he.
I'll be amazed if we take Scott Sinclair on a permanent contract.
