Haha me 2! We played well again as well.
Very scrapy game, Watford are making us look good, not feeling comfortable yet sitting here in the terraces.
here we go, squeaky bum time
Our defence clearly needs strengthening.... why didnt Dann play ???
Myhill terrible, need Doyle in quick.
I think your been a little harsh on the guys we've got one of the smallest/inexperienced squads in the championship which is why were losing goals late on, under mcleish old heads late goals we always got.
You've got to remember we had a european game on thursday night that every player put everything into and got a 3-0, yes we should have won the game but get used to this after europe its one of the sacrifices we make and probably why most managers would prefer not to be in europe
I still maintain this is an ENTIRELY new squad, perhaps the most changed in the league with a new manager to boot.
If we click into gear in the next 3 to 4 games it'll be happy days. If not? Then we've got to be realistic. Some of the worlds top managers would have struggled to get us up at the first attempt.
I must say having been at the game there were very few positives, we conceded two goals to a side that has yet to score at home. Redmond showed signs of class but apart from that not much to shout about. As I said in my earlier post Myhill looked fragile everytime the ball came near him. Having a pint now feeling disappointed that we did not take all 3 points against a poor Watford side. Rant over.
Completely out played second half. I think you can put that down to fitness. Netherless a disappointing result. Think this int break will do us the world of good.
Well its early yet the real test will come after 10 games if we are on less than 15pts after that then that would show we may find it hard to mount a promotion push.
We seem to switch off after the hour mark in defence.
I guess time will tell if we have the quality, and if Myhill is going to do the job for us.
But the problem will be fitness we have a thin sqaud and if more players go and dont get replaced we would be burnt out by Xmass.

Was at the game, but am more than hapy with a point.
Long as we can stay up this season then for me, thats fine.
KRO
As i said we cant judge the side now, Wolves are in Champions League and WBA relegated at the moment
We can start to be concerned after 10 games, but the Championship Table does not even start to take shape untill after 20 games by then you get a idea of the Automatic Promotion race but so much can change in the Championship that clubs not even in the Top 12 can push to play off places during the last 15 game run of the season.
My concern is the numbers even if we lose no one else its a bit thin at the moment i think we need 3-4 players at least and then replace who ever leaves for us to really have a sqaud that big enough to last the season.
The KiD
Not being funny and not wishing to get into a row with anybody at al,l but really, forget promotion its an absolute pipe dream.
We are nowhere near good enough and its that simple, and we wont spend any money so just please se it as it is.
KRO
I dont agree KBM
I think even when Jerome and Dann go and Zigic our strongest XI is not bad at all.
I do agree we may not get promoted i think at best we look at 5th-6th at worst 10th but then add to that injuries and fatigue due to thin sqaud i think it would be a struggle for Top 6 and most likely 8th-14th add any potential Administration and we could be at the wrong end of the Table.
Our best XI is just missing another quality Striker, if by some chance no one leaves the our best XI and options off the bench are very strong for this league.
Concerns are however over CM we lack numbers, upfront would be likewise if we lose Jerome and Zigic oh and dont keep Wood.
Defence wise we need 1-2 more bodies and thats even if we keep Dann and Ridgewell.
Only way we can gauge the season is once the window closes as we then know who we have left.
The KiD
Well lets hope your right and im wrong banjo.
Personally, dont think we are very strong in this league at all.
I think the very best we will do is mid-table.
Time will tell.

I am with you KBM.
I don't think we will go up this year but lets just enjoy the European run and as long as we don't go down this year it will be a good year.
As I have said in a previous post, this season will be a succes if we stay up, have a decent run in Europe and we get rid of Carson. One of these has already been acheived, now lets work on the other two.
Fully agree bcfc83; mid table finish, Carson out and some great European nights at St. Andrews, anything else would be a huge bonus. ( still think we could sneak a play off spot but that's just the optimist in me!!!)
KRO
If we do sneak the playoffs and all the other things happen that i mentioned I will be over the moon.
Tomorrow's the day for another CY court visit i believe.
I would actually love for him to be found 'Not Guilty' as i think he would come back to Brum and shake things up 'with a vengeance'.
He has a lot to prove [if he is not guilty] and i think would provide a big push for promotion and more.
If he looks dodgy, the good thing for us at the moment is we have got a European Cup run ahead of us which means 'exposure' and would or should make us an attractive option for potential investors/buyers.
So, if CY is found to be dodgy and wants to cop a plea tomorrow with however long a court case would take to pan out, how soon would he be gone?
If he looks solid, he should be bailed and back over in Brum by the next game by which time we presumably wouldn't be able to buy anyone but could possibly get some big name loans?
As it stands [and after seeing WHU demolish Forest yesterday on TV] I cannot see us holding our own just yet until we know what team we are going to have.
So two days to go with the transfer window [I think Arsenal are going to come a-knocking] and only a day to see what the next CY installment has in store.
Well i think CH is a little in the dark as far as what he has to work with, that could mean that the club will sell who it can and CH will have to wait to see who is sold before he can sart to get replacements.
As i said even if we take out Zigic, Jerome, Dann and Ridgewell our best XI can hold its own out against the Promotion Favorites i.e Top 4.
Thats based on a fully fit XI.
I do think Promotion is a big ask, but we could make the play offs thats not far out of our reach.
The sqaud is just thin on numbers at the moment,
Weak points compared to the competion is potentially strength in CM and quality up front as far as best XI after that we lack strength in debth.
