Pubs are going to be packed out everywhere after all it's a saturday night in Liverpool City centre, you will be amongst dozens of stags and hen parties there over the weekend.

Plenty of bars around mathew street, around the albert dock and up concert square area.

The world's your lobster when it comes to choice of bars in Liverpool

The Flute on Hardman St used to be good for footy games.
Activities wise, indoor paintball at the 051 and the indoor golf place near liverpool one are good shouts.

I love Mathew St,I always get pïssed of when my mates want to go else where.

It's a Saturday - most places will be rammed

Matthew Street is probably the best place for a night out. It used to be Concert Square and/or Seal Street but they've been hijacked by scuum.

Matthew Street is a good mix - no kids, girls outside offering good offers on drinks.

It isn't however, the place to watch a football match. Try Hardman Street and then as the night goes on, work your way towards the centre of town.

Walkabout on concert sq would be a good place to watch the game, you can book tables for it to.

Then there's loads of bars when the games finished and you can walk down toward mattew st as the night goes on!

Loads of bars, clubs and pubs and if you fancy a bit more class you've got the san Carlo, resturant bar & grill and the bar in a hard days night hotel.

Camp and Furnace

Just shows you how often I go to Town for a night out,I've never heard of this place. I've just googled it,I've never been to a club like that before.

Camp and Furnace is like a big fun communal space. It's great for the footy!

Sorry folks, not been ignoring you - just been very busy.
Thanks for all the info, it's much appreciated.

Also, TheresOnlyOneReds, Saturday's in Newcastle are fantastic. If the weathers good though, leave the city centre & head for Jesmond during the day, just full of excellent wee beer gardens. If it's REALLY good, head for Whitley bay. But on Friday about 11:30pm / 12 get in a taxi and head for Mr Lynch. It's a cracking bar, off the beaten, with a really good live band and brilliant atmosphere. Just for something different to the usual Club, Club, Club routine.
It's well worth a visit.
