Without Europe FIFA would not be able to put on a world cup event,who would want to pay to see what's left.

As much as I love the world cup something has to be done. Blatter is a virus that needs cutting away and if this is the only way to get rid of the cretin and anyone else corrupt then so be it.

The Qatar one though, it's just plain stupid. I don't care what any hipsters want to tell me about how they deserve a chance too, it's stupid. It's like holding the Winter Olympics in the Sahara desert, and then hostong the events at night when it's a bit colder.

The corruption thing is of course deplorable, but it happens. I guarantee it will eventually happen in whatever organisation might succeed FIFA if it implodes. But when it affects football as obviously as it did during the World Cup votes, it gets a bit ridiculous.

UEFA don't have the balls to pull out. Why should they when they themselves are complicit? The English FA did there best to bribe Jack Warner.

Australia certainly deserves a world cup a million times more than Qatar. It's obvious. It'll take place in June/July for a start. I very much doubt a single person will die building it too.

Apparently they ship people in from poor nations, remove their passports and make them work with no training or any regard for their safety.

Its not Europe pulling out they worry about,but the sponsors leaving is another story.

Sponsors are just humouring anti FIFA brigade without any intention to leave the world cup. They know if they are out then someone else will walk in.
