Shaun of the dead is probably my fav

Probably my fave zombie comedy although the Zombieland movies run them close

Zombieland 2 has one of my favourite comedic lines:

TLOU S2 4/10 - While it has some really really good stuff, its just very few and far between!
(TLOU S1 8/10)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What happened? I've only heard bad things about season 2. Was looking forward to it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've tried watching the episodes, but have often lost interest multiple times and it's almost like a completely different show from the 1st one (like the game unfortunately).
Also like the games it was almost a completely different writing team from the 1st game to the 2nd, and it shows!
Its more like a mediocre team drama/fan fiction that an actual sequel... Again like the games.
As much as I thought the second game was weak, this somehow weaker, with a light dusting of some decent scenes...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Neil Druckman wrote TLOU part one and two for both the TV and game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Incorrect Bruce Straley and Neil Druckman wrote the first one, where Neil Druckman and Hailey Gross wrote the 2nd..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so Neil Druckman wrote them both then with someone helping him ....
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah you believe that!!
Amy Henig was heavily involved in the LOU1, whereas Anita Sarkeesian was heavily involved in the 2nd game too..
Neil pitched a good dew ideas to the original ND team, which included Joel dying early and Tess going on a revenge quest for the 1st game, which were rejected by Bruce and Amy, as they said it wouldn't work.
Eventually the team agreed with what was the story for TLOU1.
whilst TLOU2 was being developed Bruce/Amy were forced out of ND due to creative differences...
Then he joined forces with Hailey and Anita, and TLOU2 was born...
Trust me I've followed both projects closely for like 15 yrs and have given both seasons/both games a chance!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
heavily invovled doesnt mean wrote.
Druckman wrote TLOU both part 1 & 2.
Anita Sarkseein was not directly involved with TALOU 2 at all. There is talk Druckman consulted her but thats it. You couldnt have been following it that closely !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are just wrong on all counts and having a look at your comment history, you just generally comment to disagree with people
So you're now on the Robbing Hood blacklist list!
And you took me way way off what my original point, just to disagree with me and be pedantic and seem that you know what you are talking about..

I'm very early day still, about halfway through season 3. Very late to the TWD party. Just trying to figure out the best way to proceed with all the spinoffs as well. Seems complicated lol
TWD is weird as basically every season is the same story but with a different faction.
Start in safe place >> lose safe place >> walk a little >> find new safe space >> get paranoid >> destroy safe space >> lose safe place >> walk....
Some great characters and moments but too many seasons, and the spin offs.........talk about trying to beat a dead horse
Honestly Superb mate I wouldn't touch the spin offs for now, if you feel you need more (honestly will be surprised if you get past season 5/6) go for it, but honestly they are so weird!

Feel people have forgotten Dawn of the dead, think this really kicked off the modernization of the zombie genre and was solid
Also does the Road count? This for me is a zombie movie without the zombies (I know this is a weird thing to say but with both the walking dead and tlou you realise the zombies aren't important and it's the human interactions that drive the stories)

I felt that S2 it fell off a bit, but did recover very well until it fell off completely!!
It just went on for too long imo..
Also Fear The Walking Dead had a fantastic first season, but then nosedived...
I don't think Scott Gimple is that great in all honesty

Anyway.... Whereabouts are you in TWD Superb?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm very early day still, about halfway through season 3. Very late to the TWD party. Just trying to figure out the best way to proceed with all the spinoffs as well. Seems complicated lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I felt that S2 it fell off a bit, but did recover very well until it fell off completely!!
It just went on for too long imo..
Also Fear The Walking Dead had a fantastic first season, but then nosedived...
I don't think Scott Gimple is that great in all honesty

TWD is weird as basically every season is the same story but with a different faction.
Start in safe place >> lose safe place >> walk a little >> find new safe space >> get paranoid >> destroy safe space >> lose safe place >> walk....
Some great characters and moments but too many seasons, and the spin offs.........talk about trying to beat a dead horse
Honestly Superb mate I wouldn't touch the spin offs for now, if you feel you need more (honestly will be surprised if you get past season 5/6) go for it, but honestly they are so weird!

I don't want to add spoilers, but that one season it really fell off a cliff
