ore whut classic moovies halve u scene that u thort were sheeeeeet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd stick them in two categories - overrated and sheit.

Not all classics, some were popular at the time.

Overrated:
Get Out
Crying Game
Apocalypse Now

Sheit:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Blair Witch Project
2001 Space Odyssey

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree on Get Out for sure.

Disagree on The Blair Witch Project. If you’re talking about like the 3rd or 4th one that is called just The Blair Witch then agree.

I didn't bother with the others after the first.

It was novel idea at the time no doubt about it, but I didn't think it was scary or created any real sense of suspense or dread. By the end I was like, is that it.

Great cinematography and visuals but I'd pick plenty of other war films before watching AN. In fact I'd probably only watch it if it's on telly rather than sticking it on myself.

It's not aged well. It's very 'low budget' looking production.
Scenes of people sunbathing when they're obviously freezing their asses off etc.

tbh it's too high at 130. not sure it should be top 200.
where it's great is the score. but like many box office smashes (and even some highly critically acclaimed films), the score is doing a lot of the work for an otherwise ordinary picture.

btw 4ZA, I watched Donnie Darko at the cinema the other day and I had it about an 8.
The soundtrack is brilliant, but other than that it was largely a disappointment.

Largely a disappointment but you gave it an 8?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only saw it this year and its up there with one of the most strangest films I've ever seen and can't give it a rating based on that.

I never got into it either.

We got to thank British teens for it reaching cult status.
