A lot of the narrative around Felix appears to be untrue

From what I've read they were way more accurate portraying Escobar than Gallardo

The entire family that runs Tijuana were in real life events actually the nephews of Felix

Which changes so much imo and makes a lot of S2 unlikely

I don't recall it anyway. And they always make a point that they are a family so surely they would be more loyal to their uncle. Probably why this was written the way it was

There’s literally no family link between them in the show, very surprising they never mentioned their relations. They’re literally a plaza.

Yeah they make it seem like those guys came from Tijuana too when they were from Sinaloa

Like they always go on about the Sinaloa guys being cowboys or whatever and the guys they are based on are also from there lol

Escobars son had a lot of problems with the og series accuracy too tbf. He would know what happened as well

The Felix story was always a little unknown and difficult to research. They will have plenty of material on El Chapo though.

Casting has been Narcos strongest point tbh

I wouldnt necessarily look at a picture of Gallardo and think oh yeah Diego Luna for that but it was inspired

When you realise how many of the characters were his family irl it would play out more like the Godfather if they wrote it on the facts

Yeah, Escobar's series had some very nice babes. Although Felix's ex wife was very fit imo.
