Hey Superb, didn't Blomkamp want to do a Halo Movie?!
I don't know much about Dredd, but I did enjoy the last one. Shame they won't do a sequel.
Not enough bums on seats..
When I heard about Ripper St, I got excited, but cos it's not about Jack, I lost interest.
Bad excuse I know... Is it worth a look?

Hmmm?... 'The Wire'..?!...
Sounds familiar,.. Any good?

It's very good, I must say. Up there with the other big titles like Breaking Bad and the Sopranos.

Only ever saw 2 series of the Supranos actually, need to get back on that once I've finished The Wire.

I started watching New Girl too, as it's fiancé friendly, quite funny and easy watching.

I would have preferred the Suicide Squad to be explored in more detail in Arrow/Flash than a movie personally

Rage welcome to the Club.

Yeah I didn't like Terminator Genysis either. If some fans were entertained by it then fair enough but I just thought it was a mess of a movie.

Also I'm still shocked that James Cameron called it the worthy follow up to T2. The guy doesn't need the money so what was his motive for saying it?

Was his life threatened?

Does anyone know where I can watch the latest season of suits, which is currently airing in the US. I can't be bothered until next year when it will be on Dave.

Child 44 That's Hardy and Oldman... A bit controversial isn't it?
Had a lot of hype early in the year.. Good trailer, but the buzz has settled somewhat.

I saw Ant Man as well, and agree with Rage, up there with Guardians and Winter Soilder. Very well done.
Feel bad for Edgar, but the traces of him are there...
The scene where ant mans funny side kick, is explaining his story!.. I was expecting Pegg&Frost cameo!

As for Terminator Gens... It's a sad tale.
now Cameron owes us big time. I don't care for Avatar.
But you sold out! As if they didn't pay him!!
Why Jim Why?!.. Get the rights back, and give us what we want.
None of this CGI adult Smurfs bananas!!
Give us a Terminator... One that actually Kills!

The Droog I heard that Child 44 was a bit so so. Nothing special.

Stringer a Dredd TV show if done right could be quite easy to make and done within a reasonable budget etc. Also Karl Urban would jump at the chance to play Dredd again I'm sure.

Almost Human was a great TV show by all accounts so I'm sure Urban would be happy to go back to TV.

It's got Season 5 on ShowBox, I dunno how far its gone as not watched it before so no idea if that helps

That's a shame as Hardy and Oldman are two of my favourite actors.

Same with Public Enemies, watched the trailer and was expecting something special, bit of let down.

About time we had a really epic film with some iconic actors, it has been a while. When was the last time we had something in the league of Gang's of New York?

Stick with it Busby...
The Wire will reward you, like no other.

The Droog have you seen Lawless? That's got both Hardy and Oldman in it and is probably a step up from Child 44.

After Lawless watch The Dark Knight Rises.. That's got Hardy and Oldman in.
It's all right.

The Departed. Excellent choice sir.

Or was The Droog referring to Period Pieces in particular.. Just noticed a pattern.

Has anyone seen The Amazing World of Gumball? Would recommend

Stringer any chance you can push for a Dredd TV show with all your connections?

It didn't get bums on seats at the cinema because it was totally mismarketed on it's release.

The Dredd 3D title just totally threw people off and some people probably thought it was a sequel to the awful Stallone version from 1995.

Since it's release on dvd Dredd absolute smashed it by all accounts and you only have to look at the brilliant reviews it got on Imdb and Metacritic.

Blade Runner was also a total flop at the cinema but it's now regarded as one if the best Sci-fi movies ever.

Yeah in hindsight I think he was, apologies Droog.

Very good film. Tom Hardy is fast becoming my favourite actor, but Child 44 has some terrible reviews (Rotten Tomatoes have it about 20%).

For any Tom Hardy fans, download "The Take". Very good little series, not very well known but Hardy is brilliant.

What's Banshee about then?

Cut a long story short it's about this criminal who takes the identity of this dead Sherrif of the town of banshee. It's a brilliant but very violent show. If you like fast paced TV shows with excellent characters and brilliant bad guys then banshee is well worth it. It also has some of the best fighting scenes I have ever seen in a tv show

The fighting scenes are excellent.

I loved that fight between Procter's bodyguard and that Red Indian women (she was well fit too)

Indeed she does, like a fine wine. Let's hope the TV show ages just as well. Looking forward to it and the show needs to redeem itself after that very average second movie they did a few years back.
