was okay I guess. Been far too many batman's of late to really get excited. Need a good villain and not much in the trailer about the villain.
Riddler innit? Looks decent. Not great. Unmasked batman looking a bit emo.
Got Se7en vibes. Like the tone.
Gotta give it a chance, but man o man,, DC went off yesterday!!
What say you Marvel?, cos Sony about to drop some bombs too.

Got me hyped. Loved the look and feel of it. Expecting big thinks from reeves and pattinson.

Yeah definite Seven vibes in the trailer. Hoping that it's quite a twisted movie in that way and very much a noir detective thriller with plenty of action thrown in as well.
Looks like the "go woke get broke" message might finally be getting through to Disney and the like. About damn time if so:

Don't normally reply to my own comments but I'm thinking that this movie might more follow David Fincher's The Game than Seven. Think I heard previously somewhere that it might. Will make for a fantastic movie if it does. For example Bats thrown into a devious game set up by The Riddler and whoever else where he has to solve murders only with clues given to him etc.

Have no problem with female leads, just make them good characters. Didn't mind Rey, but her character arc just wasn't good. Captain Marvel was okay. Wonder Woman I enjoyed a lot.

Captain Marvel made over a billion so even if you thought the feminism angle was over played in the marketing the movie clearly struck a chord with a lot of people, even if I found it a bit medicore.

So - Tenet.
Mixed feelings coming out the cinema on that one. Needs a second watch but on first viewing I found myself impressed with its visual inventiveness but bored by its lack of compelling drama and messy narrative. I wish Nolan could learn to write characters i care about more.
