Captain America - 7/10 - would've been 6/10 if not for Hayley Atwell

Captain Marvell - 6/10 - boring, Samuel L Jackson's interactions with the cat saved it

Ironman - 8/10

Ironman 2 - 7/10

Thor - 7/10 - I know people didn't like this one, but I thought it was a decent enough watch. Loki got a bit annoying though

Avengers - 7/10 - this was a tough one to rate. All the heroes getting together was pretty awesome, but the story was kinda meh. Same premise as Thor, just on earth. Loki got annoying in Thor, found him even more annoying in this. Also, lots of CGI for the final battle scene had me looking at my phone a bit.

Iron man 3 - 6/10 - WTF? Why? This is basically Tony stark has an identity crisis and wants to fight ISIS. Pew pew pew, 'murica. Some funny dialogue saved it.

Ben Kingsley must've gotten really desperate to do this btw.

Thor 2 - 8/10 - one of the better movies out of the lot tbh. Loki gone to being quite a likable character now he's not just being a whiny biiiitch. Thor probably my favourite arc of the whole marvel universe so far
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Captain America winter soldier - 7/10 - better plot than the first certainly, but I dunno, Chris Evans, as much as the ladies love him, just seems like such a bland hero.

Guardians of the galaxy - 8/10 - really enjoyed this one. Finally found an explanation for those godforsaken infinity stones memes, we see thanos for the first time aswell.

Guardians of the galaxy 2 - 8/10 - this would have got 9/10 but it was a bit unnecessarily drawn out in places and Batista's laugh was really starting to piiiiiiss me off.

Certainly the Thor films and guardians are my favourite ones so far.

Interesting, I didn’t think the second guardians was anywhere near as good as the first.

Mike I thought the second one made a nice change from most of the others (which are just basically stop the random alien attacks). At least it introduced quills parents.

I'm banned from the other thread blarmy, CBA asking to get unbanned

I watched the trailer for Parasite on Amazon Prime and I'm still no clearer as to what the premise is or what genre it is. I know it won best movie at the Oscars. For those that have seen it does it live up to the hype ?

I’ve seen it, I liked it. But maybe there’s a touch of over hype about it. Quirky, but some good performances in there.

Basically a poor family insert themselves into the lives of a rich family by pretending to be highly qualified workers. There is a little more to it but that's spoiler territory.

Decent film, but not a nice one. It's actually quite brutal at times. I preferred 1917 for best film but it's worth a watch.

It sucked (non) balls.

As 4za says most of them are tripe. I don’t get the whole comic book thing myself, some great art in there for sure, but it seems way too geeky.

Just watched Greenland on Amazon with Gerard Butler. I thought it was a fantastic Disaster movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

But so do books, which do it far more in depth, don’t need pictures for that. Comic books strike me a bit like their movie counter parts, very shallow. But I don’t collect them so take this with a pinch of salt, theres maybe hidden depths . (Pity marvel movies have none).
