Yeah. The main TV service is awful. It's going extinct as soon as the elderly call it a day. They're keeping it alive.

Same way over here, Netflix etc kicking everyone’s ass and don’t have the regulations the broadcasters here do. That said for news I’d still take the likes of the BBC, c4 over any broadcaster. I don’t think you have similar over there where they aren’t owned by someone with vested interests (Ie fox-utter shambles of a news outlet). So they have to strive to be impartial, not always successfully but rely on fact checking and heavy regulation (I doubt the likes of fox even has a department for that). So they still have a place, and both still make great quality programmes, but are like everyone else being outspent by the big online giants.. it’s hard to fight that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fox kinda does. I think it's the opposite though. They make sure the facts are twisted and spun until they benefit their angle so they no longer are actually facts. No fact untouched.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lies are their forte.

Watched Kong Godzilla tonight, was exactly what I hoped for. Visually was awesome and fun to watch them go at it

Was good but even with suspension of belief some plot holes and events were a bit extreme. 7/10 for me.

I'll make sure I fully switch the brain off and enjoy when I watch it then

Anyone watching Invincible?

Should ask this question on the comic book threads but the mature grown ups have manouvered to exclude me from those. No doubt they'll pick up on this, now that I've mentioned it and start discussing it in their echo chambers.

I've watched 3 episodes and it looks great for an animated series. Episodes are also as long as a regular TV series. It's bloody and certainly not for kids.

Superb you messed up giving the DC Zone to NPE.

He's completely psychotic and ruining it all for everyone, he's now filtered half the site. Why do people have to make new threads and migrate because of one poster? Admin should fack him off.

Yep exactly, but pretty much expected going in. The kinda film you can laugh at the holes in it and you don't care.

Yeah, like Godzilla boring a hole through the earth which Kong then uses to climb back up

Nah. Disagree. It wasn't even fun nonsensical. I just found it lazy and horrible with anything involving humans or a lame attempt at a story.

It's far inferior to Skull Island.
