Yeah. Think I'd be nice on a huge screen and mega loud. But I guess I'll make due with only a large screen and super loud.

Npeee- who are you talking about buddy the vampire slater too?

You won’t like this but I hated that show. Mostly because of the teen language, the girls were great.

That scene in Killed By Death, which I actually forgot about, was very good. But that's kind of what I'm saying, they all had bits and pieces filtered in... but Killed by Death was sh!t except that scene! You can take one or two of those, but S2 had a lot more than I remembered growing up. It's got some fun ones as well don't get me wrong, I liked School Hard (obviously lol), Halloween, etc... but there's so many skips.

The focal arc of S2 was better, I wouldn't say it wasn't, but The Major was a very good, superficially charismatic villain that in combination with the vast amount of rewatchable standalones puts it above S2 for me. I'd put S2 possibly above S4 because Adam didn't have that same appeal

Ah right OK. Where I think S2 is slightly outdated (probably wrong choice of words), is although the writing in terms of characterization & major plotting improved from S1 it still wasn't quite sure what it wanted to be. It was becoming more of a well rounded show but the colouring & tone of it still had that cheap horror tint about it. From S3 onwards it knew it wanted to be something more than that - the blend of drama, humour, action & presentation was at harmony

S4 pretty much depends if you're intrigued by the theme of government intervention. I wasn't, but was worth a try I guess.

My favourite series as an adult, my least favourite as a kid interestingly, is Series 6. Specifically because I'd argue the 'big bad' is desperation in all it's various forms & how it leads to self destruction. Really good stuff.

I was chatting to Devil on another thread. But moved the chat to here to not aggravate people as it was off topic.

I am more than aware you have zero taste in movie and TV shows. Oh and while we are on topic, please don't biaaatch about me and say I blew my top when you got Dunkirk wrong. The real answer is I calmly destroyed your attempts at an argument. Cheers.

Also would

Covered pretty much all the bases. Comping with loss of happiness/clarity (Buffy), loss of a loved one/addiction (Willow), unreciprocated love (Spike), overwhelmed by life (Xander), feeling like you have no life/meaning (Andrew/Johnathan), feeling powerless & the rush once you have it (Warren), etc... all very real things in a show that focusses on making monsters metaphors for them most of the time. Loved it. All went totally over me as an adolescent kid mind

Agree via S3 & S4, though I prefer S3 for that.

S5 probably my least favourite along with S1. Glory irritated the p!ss out of me, and Ben was arguably even worse. The whole mental illness tone.... just didn't land great for me despite a few really good episodes.
