Never watched Mash. I think when I was younger, the canned laughter put me off. Maybe the jokes went over my head. Just didn’t appeal, like a good old Ep of anything with Ronnie Barker.

After series Six...there was a sizeable cast change too... generally for the better, but the old stuff was as good in it's way

I also highly recommend White Gold for those who love Inbetweeners and Fresh Meat. And not just because it has two of the cast of Inbetweeners.
