Not just saying it because of his very sad passing but I wonder why Liotta didn't feature more heavily in starring roles in big movies.

I read yesterday that he turned down the chance to audition for Batman 1989 as Tim Burton was very interested in him for the main role.

He never featured in another Scorcese movie after Goodfellas and he never played alongside DeNiro again in a movie which is strange on both counts. Copland doesn't really count as they didn't do a scene together in it as far as I remember.
