Yep not on Goodfellas level for me but great nonetheless. Its like a much better version of Blow in some ways

Very well put and not that Blow was bad, it was entertaining enough.

Have to admit I don't really like Jonny Depp in gangster movies, he's too soft looking in my opinion. Found him unconvincing in Donnie Brasco and didn't like Black Mass at all. Really dull movie.

Erm, yeah it was

.... 6 years on since i watched it and imo, i still haven't found it's equal.

Breaking Bad was a blast, very well done, and is up there. don''t get me wrong, there are many a great show out there, and these days, we are blessed with high quality.
for me though 'The Wire' just ticked a few more boxes.

Homeland has started very well. Good move to start KM as a civvie, she's looking pretty vulnerable now she's realised she was the target for the assassination....

Sheriff and Term as someone who really enjoyed the first couple of seasons of Homeland are you guys finding it as good as it was when you know who was still in it?

To me it felt like a different show after that. Almost like an inferior spinoff and I soon stopped watching it.

Sheriff is Blacklist that good ? I watched some of the first episode and it just didn't click with me.

RtM didn't catch your response there fella.

I dont think I can hold off giving The Wire another spin any longer. Seriously, nothing will ever compare to that show. Heads and shoulders above anything else out there

Actually thought the second one was quite poor and the last season very good! None of them live up to the first one of course.....

Has anyone seen Prisoners of War? It's what Homeland was based on. Israeli programme, and far more realistic than Homeland. Well worth a watch if you can stand subtitles
