Not sure match fixing has been proved yet? Every sane fan in the world knew FIFA was horrendously corrupt but not necessarily game fixers and it's quite possible that top competitions are not fixed.
The refs in United games under Fergie were suspect though.

It's only a matter of time. I'll eat my car if it doesn't materialise that big games have been fixed in the last 10-15 years.
Of course it's very very likely that there's been some sort of on field rigging in the last 10-15 years, I just don't think it's FIFAs modus operandi.

We shall wait and see; though in my mind, it's an indubitable fact that FIFA is largely culpable.
There are certainly friendlies fixed on a regular basis for gambling gain. So it's highly unlikely that Tournaments have remained untouched. There's even more gambling money to be made.
FIFA are a bunch of fat cats lining their profits with bribe cash. Match fixing isn't how they get their money. A match fixing scandal could well unfold here but it won't be FIFA behind it. It'll be good old-fashioned gangsters.
