Very impressed if these come off, just the way we should be going.
Leedsrich, We have been linked with him for a few weeks now. Pacy right back, six two, and athletic and talented player by all accounts.

" While Fleetwood’s Antoni Sarcevic has caught the eye of several scouts, it is thought Moyes was particularly interested in seeing Chesterfield’s Tendayi Darikwa. The right-sided midfielder, who can also play at right-back, produced a performance that added to his glowing and growing reputation.
Darikwa can shake off opponents like a dog shakes water off its back, has a fine repertoire of seductive passes, an explosive shot, a timely tackle when dropping back to help-out defenders and gentlemanly self-control"
Both would be good signings
Not convinced morsy is what we need, very similar to what we've got though
Mikey - yeah sounds like specualtion has turned into action and talks are on going.
Morsey is a battler and enforcer. like LIW says kind of what we got, but a strong squad is needed. i wont complain at him coming in.
Who's the enforcer in our midfield currently?
Cook and Murph to a degree.
He's another small CM basically.
suppose yeah.
Would love a proper hard tackling midfielder though...neither of them 2 really are.
They're busy, and Murphy is a decent-ish passer of the ball.
But we want someone who, when they go in to a 50/50 you just know our man is coming away with the ball....or a leg.
Yeah Basically we have to replace Rudys athleticism, hunger and desire to tackle but gain someone who can pass the ball to a team mate 9/10 times.
Morsy captains them and loves a tackle apparently, havent seen him play to be honest.
We have an overload of CMS thats for sure.
Would rather we had this lad and Cook, Mowatt & Murphy, then get rid of Sloth & Bianchi.
Keeping it young which is good, we certainly have a squad for the future. Another right back though, we have Byram and Berardi already, could one of them be heading off?
I'd be happy with both but I hope Darikwa arriving doesn't mean Byram's on his way out.
agreed h'gate
Shaun, The new kid (if he signs) or Byram might be used as a RM/winger :/ which I hope isn't the case!
Cellino said none of the young players he's plastered on posters and videos to sell season tickets will be sold Shaun.
Think this Dawrika can play right midfielder or right back, kind of like Byram although would hope he's more of a right mid.
Either way no harm in having two young right sided players who have shown good promise. Think Berradi is a good utility man, proven his worth, stood by redders, didnt become a sicknote and wants to crack on to get promotion. seems like a good fella.
Think Dawrika is very fast and can play RW according to some Chesterfield fans
Cook & Murphy are not what I'd call enforcers. Batty was an enforcer. I'd like Barton sat in front of the defence scaring the feck out of the opposition. Murphy needs to be more advanced & creative. Cook is a delight going forward.
Not sure what formation best suits our talents. 433 is a favoured set up for Rosler is it not?
Loving this. We should be looking for gems in the lower leagues. This has to be Pearson & Uwe (and cohorts) driving this. Very happy with what's happening these days.
Read that rumour last night that Villa have joined Southampton, Liverpool, and a couple others wanting Sam. Maybe that's what behind this?
Playing 433
So can't see Byram anywhere but right back
Enforcers have gone from the game, you need players who cut down space now
Byram replied to the question recently, what's your best position? He said RB. Play the lad there and reap the benefits then. He did well for Redders in RM.
Dawrika listed as a RM.
Cardiff want Morsy aswell. Highly rated box to box type player.

Would be a good signing.

Busquets for Barca is one of the best in the world at this, controlls the game for them without smashing anyone.
Butchered his name:
It's Darikwa.
Apologies mate
Harrogate
Wins the ball back by forcing a mistake or bad pass by the oppposition.
And I'd sell Byram tomorrow for good money
Takes high level of fitness and high football IQ
To contain and not clatter players. Sounds like what Uwe said he needed to implement his heavy metal.
