That comment about Charlie Adam was brilliant, it did the rounds again when aguero won the golden boot this year.

I've always maintained that those 3 signings transformed city and made them what they are today as a football side.

Of course they still had the likes of kompany hart and Mancini who played a big role in making them hard to beat but for me those 3 signings transformed city.

I still remember at the time we bought Aguero, a times journalist said "Aguero is a good buy for city, but I still think the signing of the summer will be Charlie Adam to Liverpool"...
