If he was going to get a full preseason I would be 100% sure we'd see a world class player next season. The problem is he probably won't.
Giving him some freedom instead of having to be a robot in LVG's system would probably help
Considering how well he started I do believe that he ran out of steam.
When you throw in all of his off the field issues, I'm really not surprised we didn't see his best.
I mean, if you went into work, in a foreign country where your house had been burgled and your family didn't feel safe, and you weren't affected at all, I'd question your humanity
That's why I am adamantly against selling him. He didn't have a great season and came in for a ridiculous price tag. BUT he may very well tear it up for us next season and I want to see him have the opportunity to do so. Wingers are inconsistent by nature. They'll have one bad game for every good one. Given that he's been bad for 6 months, logic dictates that he'll be amazing for the next six
Yeah, he looked amazing against the mighty Jamaicans and their League 1 defenders
He wasn't even that good. Wasted chance after chance.

I didn't see the match last night but you must agree that given his past performances and given how much we spent on him, we have to give him another season? And that there's a decent chance he could shine for us?
Of course you have to give him another season. Many foreign players struggle in their first season and go on to far greater things after. Especially when the whole team were getting used to a new manager, who himself was trying to find the best way for his team to be set out.
I cannot see him not being very influential this season.

You reckon yous can push Chelsea next season? Really like the look of Arsenal right now. Cech will be a great addition.
If we can avoid the mass injuries. Think we are a CB and a striker away though.
Cech is a huge buy for arsenal. They are almost the complete team imo. Just need that top striker and having giroud and welbeck as support strikers will make them league title contenders.

Complete team!!
My god what an over exaggeration that is. They need a striker, a strong dm, better fullbacks and a top CB to be even near the complete team you call them. They are still a long way off from that
Yeah Arsenal should go close next season. If they manage to get another classy DM and a proper goalscorer, they could even win it.
We really need a good window this summer because City & Arsenal are looking to kick on and Chelsea are someway ahead of us right now.
United and Arsenal are still 4/5 players away from being 'complete' teams, Chelsea are still a player or two away
He doesn't need a rest as he's hardly played a full 90mins for us since x-mas. No wonder he's having a good CA, he's probably the most rested player at the competition.
t's no secret I haven't been his biggest fan
____
I've kept it a secret long enough as well.
It's time the world knew. I AM NOT HIS BIGGEST FAN EITHER. We signed them together as a sure fire winner. It didn't work out that way, but one of them will come good. My money's on El Tigre. The manager will get the best out of him next season and he'll lead the team to a title.
Chelsea will win the title whether Falcao is good or not
Their full backs are fine and Coquelin is a good dm who had plenty of great games last season. They have a top cb in Koscielny and Gabriel looks a good signing.
They'll challenge next season. Regarding strikers - even if they don't sign one they have sanchez and Walcott to bring plenty of goals in. Injuries really facked them last season. More than us because they have a settled team and without injuries would have challenged for the title. We had plenty of injuries but were at stage one of the lvg project and wouldn't have challenged even with no injuries
One injury to Monreal and they're stuck with Kieran Gibbs, who is appalling
And Monreal isn't that good, he's just a decent solid full back, same with Debuchy and Bellerin on the right, Coquelin is very good defensively, less so with the ball, they're strikers are ok, but not good enough to be title winners and they need another CB
Gibbs and Bellerin are ok at best
Gabriel good signing?? Well how do you know. He gas hardly played since he joined in January.
Coquelin is decent yes however there are better out there. You forget they only finished a few points ahead of us and we were poor last season, very poor in fact. You are massively over estimating them (as usual)
You underestimate what it takes to go from also rans to winners, it's a massive leap
I watched Gabriel in la liga and he was solid and looked good when he did play for arsenal. They are a very good side and have started to win trophies again. They have money now and no doubt will start to challenge for the league again. They're really not that far behind Chelsea. If Chelsea had arsenals injuries I very much doubt they'd be ahead at all
