It has been an excellent test match and series in general. We can say what we like about England's team but to beat England in home conditions is actually a very difficult job. I don't believe Australia have won the Ashes in England since 2001 despite their dominance of Cricket for many years and thus England are a very different proposition on a swinging surface like Edgbaston to anywhere else.

I actually think it's been a very poor series. Each test has had 1 team dominating. NZ series was so much better and enjoyable to watch due to games swinging both ways.

This series has been very poor, 2 or 3 day test matches are not what the public want. Far too many one day shots in the test arena now.

I'd expect England to win by 7 wickets. I thought before the series that England would win 3-1, I was hoping Australia would win but it seems a long way off now.
