Vietto- has already signed for Atletico Madrid.
Lacazette- practically already rejected us through Lyon's preseident
Icardi- not for sale and would cost as much if not more than Benteke.
PEA- not for sale
Luiz Adriano- possible but unlikely, £5.5m mooted fee would be a decent gamble.
My contribution here is gonna be great.......
Never seen any of them play

Borussia Dortmund have said they have no intention of selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a report claimed Arsenal were ready to bid €40 million for the forward.
German tabloid Bild reported on Wednesday that Arsenal were preparing the offer for the 26-year-old Gabon international, who joined Borussia from Ligue 1 side St Etienne for a reported fee of €13m in 2013.
However, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told kicker that BVB are "not interested in selling Aubameyang."

I'd like Icardi but he'd be very expensive and is only proven in the Serie A which is off putting. Don't see any chance in any of the others happening.
At this point it almost definitely going to be Benteke.

ur probably right.
I still reckon icardi or PEA cud be great if their clubs can be persuaded
The truth is there isn't that many great strikers in the world and good ones that are around cost way more than they should.
From the list Vietto would have been good but again a gamble and perhaps another one for the future.
Icardi is so overrated in my opinion, its a twitter reputation.
PEA ... Again as a striker im not convinced, just a sprinter to me. Rather have a Theo Walcott.
I actually think Benteke is a our best option, which 2 weeks ago i was really against. The more i think about the more convinced I'm getting.
Ignore the cliché of he's not our style of player, he is, he is fast and chases people down, he also occupys centre backs a bit like Suarez did. Which will mean more ball time for Coutinho and Friend
Oh forgot to add, Lacazette is the best of the bunch jn that list but I fear he's going for ££££££££ and to a CL team

Which is the reason we should get Benteke.
He is proven in this league , the others aren't.
We're already taking a gamble with Origi.
Sturridge - He's got a hospital bed on standby every season.
Ings is young, ambitious but will need an experienced sidekick.
Answer - Benteke.
my thoughts also.
could work out really well and ballo could still contribute.
I don't think 'proven in this league' really counts for that much.
Most of our best signings in the last decade haven't been 'proven in this league' when we signed them.
Benteke is partly Prem proven (we are not taking 200 games here) in a team who play a very different style to what we do.
It makes me laugh people trying to make out that he presses like Tevez and runs like Usain Bolt recently just because he is the most likely player we will sign for the striker position. Some people have done complete u-turns on him based on you-tube clips as if they are remotely reliable indicators of anything.
FWIW I think Benteke is a very good player who would be a good Drogba replacement for Chelsea, or good for Atletico Madrid. Sides who play 'power' football, are very good at set pieces both attacking and defending and vary their attack.
I think our game is not a direct fit for how to get the best out of Benteke. That doesn't mean I think he can only play well by aiming at his head, but he is a power footballer suited to those sorts of teams.
To pay £25m plus for a player more suited to other teams AND with a not great injury record would be a huge gamble we could do without.
I would rather we signed no striker and weigh up in January than spend that money on Benteke. With EL football we are highly unlikely to make the top 4 IMO so there is no desperate rush. We have to make sure we sign the right one as a top striker will go a huge way to changing our fortunes.
Buying the wrong one would set us back further.
Sign a DM and keep our money if Benteke is the best we can do this summer.
Call me greedy but we should buy Benteke and also Adriano and then send Origi out on loan.

Eh, I thought it counted more than anything else. A striker who bullies defenders of all teams in the prem, including most top 4 defenders is deffo what is needed.
Benteke scores goals, doesn't get bullied off the ball, actually frightens defences, this is what we need.
Why is there some sort of snobbery going on here, he's not Spanish, well that has to go against him.
How about Bentekho, does that sound better?
You're f'ing mad, the lot of you, Benteke has everything in his locker to emulate Drogba in his prime.
i think we can put the whole "o" on the end of the name myth to bed now...
no one wanted berahino this summer, and he an "o"

Maybe BR is planning on changing things a little because last season "our game" got us 6th place.
Benteke is not just a power footballer who get the ball lumped up to him. He has enough pace to play on the last man, he can run at players (he's not particularly skilful but he can do it). He's a good finisher with both feet as well as his head. He seems very composed in the box. He would be able to play in the pressing game we play and he'd also be able to play the passing game but he will also add another dimension where he can bully defenders and we can get the ball into the box and be a little more direct.
He's basically a good version of Lambert and Balotelli. He's what we hoped both of them would have provided the team last season.
£32m seems a lot but his goal-scoring record is fantastic. 42 goals in 88 games at a rubbish Villa team. A 1 in 2 player in a team a poor team.
